So yeah, that guy goes to my school, and ever since this commercial started airing about a month or so ago he's been catching a lot of flak (Including a negative article in a Halifax paper) For making Cape Bretoners sound f*cking ridiculous. (We don't usually have anywhere near that strong of an accent, and neither does he)
Things haven't changed much because everyone thought he was sort of a douchebag anyway, but it's funny to see him make an ass of himself on my television every eight minutes or so.
Again, this braces-wearing assclown is in no way representatvie of Nova Scotia, Cape Breton Island, or the Regional Municipality therein. You can thank him for setting our reputation back about 20 years, though.
Also, I thought I should say that "Really good, with kind of a hickory smoke to it" and the (now infamous) "Cornucopia of Awesomeness" Have been absorbed into my daily vernacular. I suggest you all do the same.
Any chance "cornucopia of awesomeness," or "Really good, with a kind of hickory smoke to it," will become the next internet pheme?
Because that would be one of the few I would endorse.
I'm a supporter of anything that encourages the use of the severerly underated word Cornucopia Nn
=)
...
Wait, your last name is actually Boston? I thought you just liked the s**tty band.
Where the hell have you been Geo?
Although I do like that song "More than A Feeling"... The song by the band that bares my name is about the girl that I've been : for over 14 years
