I've been amused by the Caption of the Whenever for a really long time, and I've been itching to post some pics that I've found here and there. Problem is that I'm afraid someone'll jump down my throat about it.
Are we allowed to post our own pics every now and then? If so, must I number it in accordance with the official CotW lineup?
He didn't. He WAS taking a risk there, but for the most part it worked out.
We should restart that topic. I also should become less lazy. That'd help too.
The reasons I took the risk was because:
1) There was no submission topic (the first topic went boom after the scootering of the board.
2) Shadow Hog did not give any more CotW topics ever since the scootering of the board (maybe he was very lazy ;p ).
3) I was bored. :p

We're not nazi's. Nobody owns the CoTW. ;P If you got a good one, post it. Just don't go SPAM crazy or we will regulate, fo rizzy ma' nizzy, fo' shizzy.

According to what Jinsoku says, anyone can post a Caption of the Whenever, just as long as they don't overload or spam the forum to oblivion (ala one CotW every week).
But in the CotW thread I started (Caption of the Whenever #71), Shadow Hog said to ASK before you start a thread.
From what Jin said, I thought anyone with the initiative to do so could've posted the CotW topic. Now I'm confuzzled. X_X
Oh. Um, whoops? Oh well. The pic is funny, though, so I don't think I'll get beat over the head... *cowers*

We haven't had any rules for the CotW. What Jin said about initiative would only work if people didn't get the initiative so often.
Once a week sounds best since it started as just that (Caption of the Week). There's also the issue of who gets what turn to post which when and whatever. A topic for suggesting pictures that the person responsible for the CotW could choose from like we had before would cause the least mess.
As things are right now... we have two Caption of the Week #71s on the first page. o.o
I fixed it. ^^; Sorry for the mistake. I was out of town for a couple of days, so I didn't notice the original #71's appearance until after I'd posted my own go at the CotW... 
Always look at the top of the forum before posting. There's always a link to latest CotW.
Actually there's supposed to be a submission topic in the SPA and yes you're supposed to ask within that submission topic because otherwise people would be posting them all the time, which means the board would be flooded with them. Then I'd get annoyed and stop the whole thing.
As the submission topic currently doesn't exist due to laziness, I don't care about the asking part but I DO care about the flooding part.
