Just out of curiosity, do you guys think the Cubs will continue to be known as "Chicago's team" despite the White Sux (Yes, White Sux) winning the WS?
EDIT: DAMN YOU EZBOARD!
Oh well, at least they don't suck as bad as the Cubs.

Even Ezboard doesn't like the White Sox. o.o
ROTFL
That's like asking if the Mets would become the team of NYC if they won the World Series. The answer is "no."
I am happy that the White Sox won the World Series as I was rooting for them once everyone started writing them off near the end of the season--and they've had such a long drought.
And they probably will end up having a drought until the next century. }:D ** shot **
White Sox-Astros World Series lowest-rated ever
Anyone else besides me think the Cubs would draw more viewers?

No. The World Series' viewership has been steadily dropping in the last couple of years, except for last year when the ratings spiked becaause Boston, that eternal novelty team, were in the series.
And the fact that the game was during the week, would not help on viewership either.
"And the fact that the game was during the week, would not help on viewership either."
umm... baseball games have always been during the week. It's never hurt viewership before, why would it now?
And the reason the WS ratings have been going down the past few years is simply because small-market teams have been reaching the finals (which is a GOOD thing). The Diamondbacks, the Marlins (damn straight), and even Houston and the Sox are all relatively small market teams.
No matter, my countryman Ozzie Guillen won the series (first Latin American skipper to do so), so I'm cool!
