Thoughts?
This is news why?
It's this or hear fanboy's whining about whatever console/cartoon/sonic pairing we're up to now. Least this has an iota of relevance to real life.

becuase she used to be the PM here.. counts more as news then the lastest unnessisary report on some popstar/footballer/glamour model.
as for the news, well, she is 80. people do have a dendancy to get frail at that age. it's sometimes wierd to think that it could happen to people who used to be so powerful.
That and it's wierd to think it could happen to Maggie Thatcher, whom I was sure was made of cast Iron....
becuase she used to be the PM here..

Just out of curiosity, what's the reason behind your dislike for Thatcher?
She stole our milk!
Also, she privatised many industries, which can be seen as a good Or bad move, right now, I can't think about which is wich, so I rally don't care, A woman is ill, that's sad, but I don't know her...
Just out of curiosity, what's the reason behind your dislike for Thatcher?
Take a guess.
Opposition to Communism?
Close friendship with Ronald Reagan?
Curtailing of the power of trade unions?
Cutting back of the welfare state in favor of a more privatized, free market economy?
Unemployment at the beginning of her term (which was eventually corrected when the economy took an upswing in the mid-80s)?
Replacing the unpopular local government rates with the even less popular poll tax (which eventually led to riots as enforcement of the poll tax became a problem)?
The allowing of US forces to station cruise missiles at British bases, as per the American policy of deterrance against the Soviet Union?
Support of the US bombing raid in Libya?
There's more.
