As the title implies, what do the members of your family do for a living?
Currently my Mom works for Jet Blue, but she used to work for Geico in the 90s. She's always had a liscense in cosmetology, so she works for a hair cutting place on the weekends.
As for mon pere, he works for the airlines as well (that's how my parents met actually =O), more specifically Swiss Air, and he also works at a local supermarket in the mornings/afternoons.
My brothers both used to work for CVS (pharmacy) but they don't work for the time being.
What about you?
Ooo, interesting topic. ^^
My mom currently works in the R-Zone (video game area) of Toys R Us. She's getting really fed up with the people there and the lack of help she's getting, so she's very close to quitting... But she loves talking to the kids, so the next place she works is definitely going to involve them ^^
My dad works for a company called "Crossroad Ingredients". He's a sales marketing guy and goes all over the world to talk about and sell this product of his. After switching jobs though (from one company which does the exact same thing), he's spent a lot more time at home and with us, which makes me happy ^^
My brother is considering working at Wendy's as an after-school thing. He worked at the same boy scout camp I did, though. This was his third year, and my second.
And my sister's not old enough to work yet, but she's gonna try to be a counselor in training at the same camp next year 😀

My Mom is a part time receptionist at an aromatherapy centre, and I think she does a bit of aromathereapy herself, I'm not too sure.
My Dad works in a foundry using air tools to clean all sorts of metal products, unfortunately it's gonna close down soon, so he'll be out of work.
My uncle's on my Dad's side do pretty much the same thing my Dad does, while my uncle on my Mom's side is a Gas service man that repairs boilers or something. I don't understand why though. I mean he's practicaly a millionaire.
Also my step-brother is supposedly in charge of a car showroom somewhere, but I don't know the details as I've never met him.
My mum works for a company called Retail Marketing Services who are hired to do market research for other companies.
My dad works as a tanker driver for Wincanton Oil Refinery in Immingham, and is also the shop steward.
My sis works for a council division that handles graffiti incidents and such.
And I have a paper round at a local shop 😯
My dad is a self employeed oil and gas attorney, which is hardly as controversial or exciting as it may possibly sound to some. Basically he goes to little towns in Oklahoma and the Texas panhandle and looks at who owns the mineral rights on sections of land, then writes big reports on who has owned the mineral deeds in the past and present. Then some big oil company buys it and can go drill there. It's really boring and he spends alot of time in court house basements reading 40 year old documents. He isn't the kind of lawyer that goes to meetings, or spends time in court or gets well paid for his work. It's sort of an obscure sect of law.
My mom was a real estate broker in the 80s and early 90s and she sure did suck at it. She was awesome at talking to people, but she never had the motivation to actually go sell houses. She worked at a really small firm and I really don't know why they kept her employed. About 5 years before she became really, really sick she toyed around with the idea of becoming a real estate investor, but didn't get the motivation to actually go look for houses. I think she had some really nice business cards made though.
I'm a former daycare worker, book store clerk, Kmart associate, carpet cleaning customer service representative who is now a Denny's waitress, computer lab assistant, and apartment office employee.
My mom hasn't worked since my dad got his master's degree in his 80's, but before that she was an elementary school teacher. She still subs here and there when the local Catholic school needs her.
My dad is a banker involved with some form of international finance. What I don't know exactly. I do know that first he worked for a Swiss bank, and my family had to live in Switzerland....then he worked for an English bank and my family had to live in England. Now he works for a Japanese bank....so I left the house and moved to New Mexico on my own before the inevitable happens =P
My older sister works at Starbucks (scintallating), and my younger sister is a part time sacristan at our Church (enthralling).
I just recently got a full-time job as a copy-editor/page designer for a daily newspaper in New Mexico. Go me.
My mother is a nurse at the hospital she had been working at my whole life. ^^ She was in the ICU for as long as I can remember, but recently switched to radiology department, she got me a job there as the weekend linens guy.
My dad used to be a big manager at Coca Cola...but whenever he had to fire someone they always tried to sue him (no successes though =D) so he got fed up, left, did a lot of driving jobs...and now he drives a charter bus. My sis just got out of esthitician (sp....) training and is trying to get a job in such a field...but is currently working at a Target. And my brother works at to post office of a pharmacy a few towns away. ^^;

I work at Burger King, which is so fun!
My dad is a stockman for the cafeteria at a county-runned high school as well as work for CAC (Community Action Committee), which is a county runned bus service that take people to dialysis, etc., on Saturdays. He also works for UT (University of Tennessee, Go Vols!) as a parking attendant for ball games as well as concerts, Barnum and Bailey circus performances, etc.
Finally, my mom is a house wife, and my sister is 12 so can't get a job but wants to work at Wal-Mart or the mall when she's old enough.
My dad is a self employed carpenter who's been at his craft for over 24-25 years...he's pretty good at it and well known around Denver...
My mom used to work at StorageTek until she quit to raise the kids and for a while, homeschool. Now I don't know what she'll do now that my sister will be going to public high school now...
My brother worked at some small Christian camp...and often does odd jobs for people...he hates hard work.
Sister is too young to work
I've been at UPS as a top loader for the past 2 years...only job I've had...
my dad works for Hewlett Packard, and will probably retire early in a few years or so.
my mum hasn't really worked since i was small, other then for some years as a childminder. these days she makes cards by hand and sells them to freinds and family.
the younger sister is temping at a honda car sales place thingy.
the youngest sister works part-time at the local supermarket.
i'm unemployed, but will poke about for a part-time job once the university year starts up again. ^^
My dad, well, I won't get into specifics, but he works on computers for the government. >.> <.<
My brother who lives with us works as, well, anything that can get him money around our neighborhood.
My two brothers who don't live with us work for some vending machine company.
And me, right now I'm unemployed, but I was working for one of my dad's friends in his computer repair business before everything went downhill for him. But in a year and a half, one of my dad's former bosses is considering to hire me, assuming that I can get a security clearance (which he's going to sponsor for me)
My mother...well, she used to run an in-home daycare up until I was about 10, then she did some telemarketing and whatnot, but now due to her physical condition, she is unable to work/drive.
My father is an Aerospace engineer. Interesting stuff, actually.
As for me, I am in college working towards a degree in Fine Art, with a certificate for radiology work in a nearby hospital. Just some thing to fall back on, I guess.
My brother is...uh...I'm not sure. He's at a 4 year college studying economics, I think. A few aunts and uncles of mine do less-then honorable work, but one of my aunts is a rancher, one uncle that works with computers, and my grandfather was a truck driver.
My sister is the media director here at the Tonkawa Tribal administration center. This entails all things pretty and public. Newletter, webpage, meetings, pamplets, museum, and all advertisment of those things.
My step-dad is a lazy brick mason that barely breaks into the 5 digit range.
As you know I do the IT part of this shindig. Networking (wireless or not), domain administration, keeping the website UP, and all the lowly grunt work that keeps those things running, as well as obtaining new systems to replace the ones the moronic users break beyond repair.
My mother does... well, everything else. Internal auditing, property manager, building coordinator, executive assistant, grants and contracts, assistant finance director, executive director, and pretty much everything else the other people don't feel like or have to bad of a hangover to do.
What does that leave left for the other hundred people to do? Well aside from maintenance, accounts payable, payroll, and the business committee themselves? Not much.

My dad is the Chief of Safety for the 22nd Air Force. If you ask him though, he'll tell you he's a pilot (Which he is.).
He's the guy that gets to shout at the other guys. Adn they have to treat him nicely or else their budgets get cut.
Currently my mother can't work due to leg problems. My grandmother works at a gas station, and my grandfather works at a brick creating place. My uncle works at a golf course, and my aunt works as a nurse's aide.
Mom works for an advertisement company, helping to schedule TV commercials.
Dad works for a local internet service provider that is mainly used by schools. He does quite a few different tasks there, but most of it consists of keeping the servers up and running.
My grandma used to work at a daycare center but retired a few years ago.
I am a professional crastinator.
Earlier on, my mom was just a housewife who often took jobs on alterations while watching over me and my sis until we were old enough to take care of ourselves (which at that point, she became a working mom).
Dad's actually had a number of jobs over the years in the USA (before in Korea, I believe he was a architect) before both he and mom settled on the oh, so cliche job for us Asians: the Laundry business.
As for me and my little sis, we worked briefly in Dad's store and am currently trying to score a job at Barnes n' Noble.
My Mom work at Computer share, My Aunt have a new job for some company and next year I will like to work at my libery. That's it for me.
My mom is a nurse in the ER at St Paul's Hospital in Vancouver. My dad is a self-employed commercial photographer.
My Dad slices meat at Hanaford and my Mom proofreads boring things for her Boss. =D My Aunt feeds horses and for like a week my sister did soemthign with acorns or whatever.
My dad manufactures parts for cars in a big factory, my mom manufactures soap in a big factory, my brother Matt is a trucker for Pepsi, and my brother Scott sells vaccuum cleaners door-to-door.
We're so diverse!
My mum goes out real late at night and comes home tired in the morning... but I don't know what she does.
And my dad could be dead for all I care.
Maybe she go to a bar or something? Kinda harsh there about your dad. My Dad was nothing like i thought he was. Now I don't care what happen to him.
We seem to be on the same page.
Hrm...
