So it okay to make fun of other religions, but it not okay to make fun of Scientology. Ooookay.
We all know that Trey and Matt are GLIB! GLIB!
...I wouldn't be surprised it Tom Cruise put him up to this. :/
This has been going on for how long now? Has Isaac just now started watching the episodes?
Wot Shadonic said, though: he didn't have a problem with 'ridicule of religion' until his own was being ridiculed. Can't speak for Isaac Hayes, but Chef the character will be missed, along with his salty balls.
You can make fun of the Christians, the Muslims, the Jews, the Hindus, the Buddhists or the Sikhs, the blacks, the whites, the British, the Americans, the French, the Germans, the Canadians, the straights or the gays. But you can never NEVER... NEVER... POKE FUN AT SCIENTOLOGISTS! }:0
Dude that episode was like months ago.
If he did it because he was offended, then he's a hypocrite.
If he did it because his church was pressuring him to, then he's a spineless pansy.
Either way, this is a real respect-killer. Shame on you, Issac Hayes.
No problem making fun of pretty much everything there is to make fun of for years, but it suddenly becomes a problem shortly after they make fun of something he's involved in. Real nice.
That said, I don't watch or care for the show anyway. The only thing I've seen Issac Hayes in was when he played a Jaffa in a few episodes of Stargate SG-1. Heh.
Either way, he is no longer a sexy-music-man, nor do I care for his chocolate saulty balls.
He has lost my respect. All of it.
LOL. This guy is funny.
I'm gonna miss him, children.
Another article about it, in which the show creators are a little more blunt in their opinions than the Yahoo article let on, can be found here:
