OH SHWEET! I LOVE THIS CD! Just got it it yesterday and I'm flippin' out! This is way better than G-Sides. I just wannna spread the joy and let everyone know! Every song on that CD is good. The only ones I don't really like are Demon Days and Don't Get Lost in Heaven. They're good, but don't appeal to me as much as the other ones.

Something I'm curious about. On the album cover, if you look real close, you ca see that 2-d has a hickey. Thought that was wierd. Anyway, I'm listening to Dirty Harry right now, and I think that it's my favorite song on the CD along with O Green World and El Manana.

Yes it is a great CD, I got it a while back. I like the ones you listed and 'Every Planet We Reach is Dead'. Also there is something about 'Fire coming out the monkey's head' that I really like, maybe because its a narrative type song.

I do like Fire Coming Out Of A Monkey's head. I liked the fact that Dennis Hopper narrarated it. Happy folk rock. I like the parts that 2-D sings in it. Is it like a song that hides the real meaning? Like is it about something, but cleverly worded into the way it was.

I want to know who Shaun Ryder is though. He was in the song Dare.

I also noticed that Dan the Automator didn't produce it and DangerMouse did. Him and Damon Albarn, who I believe is the voice of 2-D.

And no Del the Funky Homosapien. I was disappointed at that because I think he has a cool voice and can rap okay.

I want to bring up a point about the lyrics and feel of the music. It seems different from the original CD.

That's a good thing, isn't it? I'm tired of artists who feel inclined to make 45 minutes of the same crap every time they put out an LP (*cough-coldplay-cough*).

Although I agree Cycle, that isn't what I meant. I meant it feels diffferent from previous CDs that they've done.

That's because it's Noodle's album as opposed to Murdoc's. In the words of 2D, it's like the first album coloured in.
I like how the whole album makes up a story. At least, in my mind it does. It's too bad that the Gorillaz movie project fell through. If this was the album to go with it, it could have been a pretty good film.
Anyone catch the 'Dare' music video over on gorillaz.com? Nice blend of animation and live action. And Noodle looks all grown up.

I bought the CD a week ago, and I love it. Nice blend of music. The only two songs I really couldn't get into was White Light and All Alone. Dennis Hopper narrating was awesome too.

Personally I loved it so much I bought it on vinyl. I don't like how they produce the music videos afterwards though -- they should release each album as a DVD with all the music videos. HD audio would be nice too. CDs sound like crap.
