That was fun.

I liked the Sonic Stadium's introduction to their Battle Cards joke. My next favorite last year was when Sonic Online's managers pretended to quit. I also liked when Sonic Anime announced that Shadow the Hedgehog would become Sega's new mascot. I also liked the Mario HQ and Sonic Zone's mods had their powers removed.

Almost got fooled earlier.... was checking Livejournal and on my friends' page I saw an entry titled "R.I.P. Geddy Lee (bassist from Rush)" followed by a cut to read more of the entry. I sat staring for a few seconds, thinking "Dear GOD, this had better be a cruel joke."

And it was. :3

Still trying to think of good ones to pull on my friends though.... Really got my friend last year :3 Plan to do even better this year 😀

Is this year's April Fools' joke supposed to be Sonic HQ being down?

Hey, I just remembered Chris HQ and Shadow HQ. Those were some good times.

Ugh - i got fooled today. Damn my naive self. In the UK the Chronicles of Narnia film is out on Monday, and i was told that i would have to wear a lion suit to promote it. Bearing in mind that it was April Fools day and that the film isn't out yet, i still kinda believed it. Damn - Probably for the best. If i was the lion i would have to growl and i'll probably end up with 100 sexual harrassment lawsuits by the end of the day of people complaining that i was growling at them! Or not...

I was going to pull that joke on Craig, Sage, but he had to go and disappear for April Fool's.

No, that's just an unfortunate coincidence.

In 2003, when we did FexusFan HQ, the site went down on April Fools' Day as well and didn't come back up until about April 3rd.

Though it's been down since at least Thursday for me. Fun fun. ;p

On Adult Swim tonight, they edited in fart sounds for Fullmetal Alchemist.

I see you only caught the middle of AS's whole gag.

First, they aired Chuch Norris' Karate Kommandos in place of the first Inuyasha airing.

Next, they aired the new episode of Ghost in the Shell:SAC with farting noises which replaced the second airing of IY.

Then, the FMA farting incedent.

After that, they aired the new episode of GitS:SAC without the fart sounds.

Then they aired Boo Boo Runs Wild in place of NGE.

And last, they aired the Mr. T animated series in place of CB.

Now they are repeating the whole joke.

Err, what gag? I get to have a site with Sally & Knuckles (my two favorite characters & one of my favorite pairings) as the stars and you think it's a gag. o_O

Oh, and as already noted in the topic, most people couldn't even access the site at all yesterday. I know a few could because according to Team Artail's Top Site List we managed 4 visitors which is very below the norm. Even the day before with 100-something was below the norm. Today we're back to what passes for normal by this time of the day. ;p

Reminds me of when they edited mustaches and so forth into just about every frame in an April Fool's InuYasha, actually.

Although, Fullmetal FINISHED, so I haven't had much reason to rewatch it.
