I'm not one to make entire threads for stuff that goes on in my life, at least not usually, but seeing as I'm in a situation where my internet access is questionable, I felt I'd better, just in case. 
Starting this summer, and through the seven months until early next year, I'm going to be working at DisneyWorld in Orlando, Florida. It's all part of the college program that Disney offers, as an internship, and could possibly take me somewhere down the road.
I'll be doing a custodial job, which, while basically amounting to being a janitor, it's better than nothing (though I'd have rathered costuming...). Plus I've heard mostly good things about the whole program...and heck, I'll be able to check out DisneyWorld for free on my days off ^^;
The major downside is that the job will be pulling me away from all my friends back home, with little chance of seeing them until next year. Not to mention I'll most likely be working holidays as well. But, hopefully I'll have internet access (depends if I can manage to get a new laptop beforehard :/ ), and, seven months isn't that long when I think about it.
Anyway, I just wanted to let everybody here know, especially the folks that I've gotten pretty close with. I'll be heading out May 25th, so it's not like I'm doing any sudden goodbyes here.
And also, if anybody here is also taking part in this program, or is gonna be venturing down to DisneyWorld for vacation, let me know so I can possibly meet up with some fellow forumers.
So hopefully, this is more of a "see you whenever" rather than a "see ya next year". ^^;

Good luck...I found that program interesting but not interesting enough to enroll...I have a friend who is already down there so maybe you'll meet her...
...considering Disney World is full of thousands of people...never mind...

Honestly, I've heard of some strange stuff down there and you'd have to pay me good money to go down to DW...
I didn't include AOL because you can't work for a sweat shop, you're dragged out of an orphanage and put on a construction line, or tech help.
EA, I overlooked, they are indeed evil, and someday shall steal the RTH from the planet.

Becareful with your pay and benefits.. Disney has the reputation of being the kind of job where
"You work here because you like it here, you can leave at any time.".
I know I have relatives who work at Disney World. Many rules and regulations as well. And like Toys 'R Us, using your discounts and free access can get you in trouble if used imporperly!! Best bet.. Be a shadow, people are a liability.
But congratz and hopefully my tips/warnings will further prepare you.
