Mine is Ah-Kree-Oh but I get all kinds of crazy and offensive ignorance from people here.
If You have a kind of obscurely spelt screenname, how do you pronounce it? Also, how do you pronounce others'?
That guy Tornadot totally has me saying like Torn-A-Dot but it might be like "tornado" with an insolent silent T at the end.
Dirk, uh... me? Buh....
Do you really need to guess?
I assume mine isn't that hard to figure out, but I've always intended mine to be pronouced "zero sky", hence the way I capitalize it. My brother always intentionally mispronounces it "zeroski", just to annoy me.
Mine is obviously pronounced "Bar-buh-ruh Streye-zahnd".
Weh-soo.
Pretty simple, but I get stuff like Wee-soo a lot.
This alt is pronounced
"DOUBLE O" "FIFTHTEEN"
My other alt, Hiro0015, is pronounced
"DOUBLE O" "FIFTHTEEN"
Or for those not familiar with Gundam Wing...
Hiro= "Hero" ... Why is it spelt Hiro instead of Heero? Because I suck... Luckily, it turns out Hiro is a proper name also =)
so... yeah...
If you pronounced my last name wrong, I'd have to hurt you...
Sonic Candy, simple as that yo.
I'd think Shadowed Spirit Sage isn't difficult to figure out, but the character SSS' first name (Cari) has been pronounced wrong on several occasions.
It is not "carry"; like what you do with books and such.
It is "Car-ee"; like what you drive, with a long "e" at the end.
That is all 😀
~Shadowed Spirit Sage
"SAI Kai RUss" not "Kay-russ", as it's evidently a common mistake people have when pronouncing it.
Hm. Actually, this tends to be a common problem with my username - no-one can work out how to say it.
So I'll only say this once!
"boh-ss vel-ohh-tix"
That's a short "o". :O
I think mine's pretty easy.
~Tobe
I've gotten this question quite frequently actually.
The answer is: I've never had to say it out loud, so why are you?
It is quite obvious that the first part of my username is Japanese, but just in case:
Kah-zeh. Short "e" sound with last syllable, not "ei" (ay). o.o
That is all.
Suh-ka-key. The numbers are silent.
Also:
"The first syllable [[of Khlul'-hloo is]] pronounced gutturally and very thickly. The u is about like that in full; and the first syllable is not unlike klul in sound, hence the h represents the guttural thickness."
For sig.
MAR-KEY
😯
(my alts: hoj-heg and ja-fah cayk)
'chi-bee beh-ka'
for some strange resion, dispite usually spelling my name as 'becca', introducing myself as 'becca', some people still insist on calling me 'becky', which i detest. ^^; (well, unless you've earned a special non-mauling honour)
Mine should be pretty straightforward.
But just in case: Sailor (as in Sailor Moon) RoseDust (as in the Flutter Pony)
I've been pronouncing at least three of your names wrong for a few years now.
'stumble-eee-na'
When I tried to type in the pronouncation of my real name I was censored.
Do I really need to spell it out =| Yet I know someone has been reading the last part F.A.N and not just the word "fan"

Nook toss. Like the words.
Also Lokki Gallansbayne is (again in terms of real words) low key gal LANs bane (the LANs is capitalised because it's an abbreviation - put the emphasis wherever the hell you want but I usually put it on the first and last (?) syllables of each part of the name respectively). Some people like to say the first name lock key instead of low key, which I guess makes sense given the spelling, but I did it that way to differentiate from the Norse god whose name I stole.
I've definately been calling you Nooch-Toas(t) (Toast minus the t)
... And I will forever.
Where the heck is Geogwe? Somebody bring him here.
Everyone knows mine (JiTi) but I just want to say that I have always mispronounced Acrio's name as Ar-ko. Don't know why, blame Sim City 2000.
ok this may have got you guys its pronounced like if it was spelled Obic with a short o and just Child.
Essex, if you can't say the letters S.X. - It is NOT pronounced "Sex," even if i reply to that if called it.
And I always pronounced Acrio's name with a long A. Call it regional accent.
"Nook toss. Like the words."
I've always pronounced it Nuch-tose (nuch rhyming with crutch, and tose rhyming with toast.. without the second T.)
Oh well. I prefer just John.
Stee bay. Yeah. But for some reason, there have been at least 5 people who have typed it as Steelbay. Which is wrong. =)
Guys-ah or Guys-er depending on your accent. oo
It's pronounced "Lord High Sexytail Hotboxers"
Or just Crim-zon Dark-wolf if your dull. And Maggie is Ma-jen-ta.
Um... Fex us. not fex them, fex US. so yeah, Fexus.
"Um... Fex us. not fex them, fex US. so yeah, Fexus."
*GASP* You mean it's NOT pronounced feex-oose?!
You all know how to pronounce mine... >>
Holy
Anti (long i)
Cor (long o)
Thap (short a)
Reloaded
^^
lolz, this is JUST what we needed. nN
"Spy-ner" "St-orm"
Or, depending on your locale "Spy-nah"
But, by actually it is "Spy-ner the awe-some", in case you want to tell your friends. =D
"Nee-o re-ming-ton three sev-en three".
Or Neo Yi...er...I mean "Nee-o Yee" which is the name I generally go by now, but have been too lazy to make a new ezboard account with that name. That said, I've meant a lot of people who couldn't pronouce my surname right, always calling it "Yai". Heh.
I'll give you three guesses.
"Wun-DUR-bra".
"Ahl-truh Sonic Double-o seven."
o.o
"Wun-DUR-bee-OTCH"
Dr McDoomzorz plz
Stolteheim Reinbach III.
Oh, wait. Well, Divine should be easy enough. Dragoon is dragon, but with goon instead, and Kain is Kane is Kayne but not Kayne West.
Now that I saw it on the internet, that is the shiznizzle. Seriously, I been calling John "Nachos" for years now. Was also wrong on Kaze, Spiner, SX, and most other names too. :/
Mine can be said many diffrent ways. Most common is to say it as "PWAR" like on the anime. You don't have to add the "MISS" unless you wanna, is just there so I ain't mistaken for a boy.
My username is pronounced "Shlbet aeyt arr".
Ah, the Elder God of Pillaging?
...how can you be wrong on SX?
By pronouncing it Sex?
Al bye no wrap er
I've always called Nuchtos "nuch toes."
Ayep, Nachos and Sex. I was living the American Dream.
You'd be surpised what I've heard some people mistake SX as other than Sex.
SX the Kitsune
Socks the Kitsune
Symptoms the Kitsune
Sussex the Kitsune
Sonic X the Kitsune
Supercross the Kitsune
StaticX the Kitsune
Suplex the Kitsune
ShopStix the Kitsune
Greek Aircraft the Kitsune
That enough?
