Exactly where is London? (Maybe that's a silly question.)
What does the name London mean? Did the romans name the city?
How many people lives there?
Do you know many interesting places to visit there? (As a tourist.)
I need answers as soon as possible, because i have an assignment to do in 29th March or 4th April.
Okey?
It was built by the river Thames...
Central london, the actual city is quite small but the suburbs and whatever have grown and grown and grown making it the largest population centre in the UK...
As well as the largest traffic jam sector of the UK.
On the other hand, traffic congestion isn't confusing, just slow. The award for most confusing traffic system goes to brimingham for Spaghetti Junction (designed so an Londoners planning to travel north accidentally turn right back around and keep on going south again)
Oh, sorry, London... Um...
Well, I know that it contains some of the UK's most noticable landmarks; Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Millenium Dome and Wheel, London Tower/Bridge/whatever...
Last year a whale killed itself swimming up the river and couldn't survive being towed back out to ocean..
I know that it's mayor Ken Livinston was wrongly suspended for trading personal insults with a reporter who offended him...
...
Sorry, your looking for the history of the city...
Damn, I really dont think I can help with that.
Yes, Fred, it did have a name given by the Romans. During the Roman Empire London was called Londonium. If I also remember from history, it even has remains of the Roman Roads. As for what it means, if anything, I have no clue that's about all I know. I'm American just so you know. I'm just giving info that I'm trying to remember from world history back in high school, I've been out for 3 yrs. by the way.
It's got the olympics in 2012...
Although at the moment half of the people I know are angry about this because we don't need more cars on our already jam packed roads...
London is reknowned in the UK for congestion charges - the most evil things imaginable to road users.
A little over a century ago London was the capitol of not just Great Britain but the entire world, 1/4th of which was owned by the UK.
Popular UK long running soap Eastenders is set in London...
Cockney accent is one of the most laughable things in the world, if you get the chance visit london just so you can have a chance to laugh at them (no offence you cockneys, btter having a funny london one than a horrendous brummy one. Our accent's so bad you can't even laugh at it... )
In London, as with the rest of the UK, people drive on the right side of the road.
actually, did you know WHY we in the UK drive on the right side ofthe road.
The majority of people are right handed. If your riding on the left side of the road nd someone attacks you from the other side then you can get your sword out and attack them easier tha if your on the right side and need to use your left hand.
So there you are, all you americans, french, german, indian, australians... By driving on the wrong side of the road your LEAVING YOURSELF VUNERABLE to SWORD ATTACKS !!!!
protect yourself TODAY and lobby for an immediate change to your country's driving laws.
Why are you asking us to do your homework? Jesus Christ, get on google and do it your goddam self. What a lazy bastard.

I've been there a few times, but not enough to have much worth mentioning. I do know you can actually get decent hot dogs there, unlike the majority of England.
