IT GON RAIN
ok tryed to make a joke(if anyone can get it kudos to you) but its summer time and were in a big heat advisory in my area, highs in the high 90's for the last 5 days (But really 115 degrees with heat indexs)
so how are things in your area?
Nothing but rain. Wet and cold. One of those days when you don't want to do anything.
I want the sun to come out.
Yeah- same here. Lucky you, Koolkaz.
I went outside with nothing but a t-shirt right when it started to rain, and because I was directing people where to go for a sponsored walk, I had to stay out for a looong time.
I have a cold now...
Well.. in Alor Star, Kedah, Malaysia it just rained for a while just now. I watched Fantastic 4 at the local cineplex. Was good.
Family Guy reference?
It rained here today, by the way. Not that that's unusual, though.
Hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot. I think that settles that.
And of course Jman got it... but then, from the instance it was posted we all knew HE GONN GET IT
Gotta love the Blacky Weather Forecast.
And the punishment report.
But it's been blisterin' hot over here. DRY heat. Bouncing back and forth between mid nineties to the low 100's. And it rains about once a week. Poo.
Taken from the BBC weather site:
Dallas, Texas
Sunday:
High: 39C/102F Low: 28C/82F Humidity: 35%, Sunny
Basically it's been warm, a bit humid and sunny and it looks like that's how it will stay.
Well here in Alabama..it's been extremely sunny, and highs in the upper 90s w/heat indices in the 100-110 range. As a matter of fact right now it's 100 degrees F but the heat index is like 112. My goodness...
Bristol, UK: Rain. More rain. And further rain.
But since I'm supposed to be studying (and am actually collecting phoenixes in Sonic Adventure 2), this is probably a good thing...
*grumbles*

Nothin' but sun and hot weather. I could kill for some rain...

Here in Connecticut the temp is 81 F and mostly sunny. Not too bad really considering that Im more of a fall person.

It's pretty uncomfortable here right now. Typically warm but fair weather is mutated into extremely irritable, damp swamp-like conditions thanks to the fact that our desert valley is nestled between a few mountain ranges, effectively keeping out the cool air flowing in from the Pacific Ocean that would be our savior. At the same time, the warm stagnant air is kept in place by a high pressure system that hoves over the valley.
It's a sauna. Hot and sticky. Never mind that we're all in the middle of a minor power crisis. Rolling blackouts aren't too far off if this keeps up. People die from this kind of weather, and the ones most at risk are young children, the elderly and the county's homeless.
'Course, this happens nearly EVERY year around this time. We've gotten used to it. That's no consolation, though. :
North KY weather? well, we're in a heat emergency with peaks of 110 degrees F...and it's like a freakin' steam bath here. (for scale, when it breaks 85 we call it hot)
Down here in South Texas, it's pretty much in the 90's all year 'round. Might hit as low as 70 around Christmas. Right now, it's ninety-something degrees, predictably. It was raining off and on this past week because of the hurricane, and now there's a mosquito problem as a result. Other than that, it doesn't rain much at all. It's funny when it thunders on the odd occasion that there is rain, because everyone's head turns around in surprise. XD Hell, when we got that weird-arsed foot of snow this past Christmas ('twas on national news), no one had a clue what it was. I betcha half of my town had never seen it before. If that didn't strike you, think about this: The last snow flurries spotted were back in the 70's or 80's, and the last visible snow was like a century ago. A century.
So, yeah, that's Texas weather for ya. XD
I went outside with nothing but a t-shirt right when it started to rain
MY FANTASY COME TRUE *killed*
Anyway... it's actually been pretty hot lately, at least for Oregon. It's been getting up to 90 degrees, with very high humidity, as well.
AND I HATE HEAT.
It's raining AGAIN.
And they call this summer...
It's been blistering hot up here, even with thE inversion this valley goes through. It started to cool off though, so it only rEached like mid to upper 90's Last week though, man it was hitting 100's. Twas bliss
Even though one of my bike tires melted a bit due to the heat {Or maybe due to me pedalling like a madman...or both}
Yeah today? 98 I believe? Gotta add 8 to 10 degrees cause I live on this strip of town that gets BAKED n_n, so the ower end is prolly gonna see 88 or so.
Illinois has been nothing but hot and dry for the past two months. We finally got a storm today, which made me a very happy person ^^
I was up in Wisconsin working at a boy scout camp for the past two weeks, living in a "glorified garbage bag" (i.e. a wooden frame with a vinyl tent cover over it), enduring more heat and dryness. We actually had two heat emergency days where all morning and afternoon merit badge classes were pushed two hours back and evening classes were pushed an hour forward so kids could cool off by going to the waterfront. Heat sucks.
Though the last day I was up there, they got a killer storm, and I was out hiking with five other people about a half mile away from a potential tornado. ^^
I dunno if it's just me, but has anyone else noticed that this year, the weather has been pretty strange? Not like blizzards in Africa, but just... slightly off?

Here in Ireland it'snothing if not overcast. I think it will rain tomorrow. It's been a lousy holiday.
Yes- Ireland is a wet country.
I went there last year for camping. HORRIFIC

I hear ya, Cy...the western end o' the state isn't much better.
*looks out the window @ theremometer*
Darn near 100F here & last I heard humidity was 88%.
July is typically hot & humid here, but this is worse than usual
*is staying indoors as much as she can*
Over here in Indiana, USA, it has been terribly warm. Currently it is 92 degrees Fahrenheit with a heat index of 107. Luckily, I own a pool, so I can keep cool.
Tis 01:00 and it's raining in Croydon.
100 DEGREE HEAT.
ADD HUMIDITY, AND YOU GET MELTING.
(MELTS AGAIN)
In Mississippi, it's pretty much the same as the others from the States: hot, hot, hot.
We only get rain about once a week here and every other day it feels like an oven. I wish some of you could send your rain our way.
