Moving is a real hassle. I should know. I seem to move about every 3 or 4 years. I'm living in my Aunt and Uncle's house right now with my mom, two sisters, and my little brother. Thing is, the house is really small. But it's better than living out in the streets. 'Tis all my stepdads fault. He refused to pay the rent where we lived before. He used that money to buy crack and spend time with some woman from the local Shell station.
So, how's your day?

I feel really bad for you, Aeva:(

I came close to having a stepdad like that too. However, even though he doesn't live in our house any more, my mother still sees him. He often comes over, completely pissed, and slags me off something rotten.

Don't worry though man! One day, things will work out! Just smile and be the best person you can be!:thumbsup

Been completely bored today. ABSOLUTELY nothing to do.:annoyed

Well, you don't have to take care of a 2 and 3 year-old do you? I'd rather be bored than take care of "thing 1 and thing 2".
But thanks anyway. I've never really had a father figure before. My dad left when I was like 1 or 2, my first stepdad was well... weird. He wasn't exactly 100% right in the head to begin with. And my other stepdad, well you know what happened.

My parents get the itch to move every three or four years... I'm extremely thankful that we've been in this house for six years so far.

Chin up, bucko! Things can't be all that bad. Moving is a real hassle, but it's nice when it's all over. You get to decorate your room, rearrange everything, stuff. ^^ Try to dwell on the bright side. You'll be okay.

No offense, man, but why are you randomly sharing all this deeply personal stuff on the MoFo?

Or are you just messing around?

Aww, that really sucks :(

I really hope you find a stable home sooner than later, and Necro, some people just like sharing their feelings with (practically) annoymous strangers just to feel better and get some advice.

Of course, there's not much advice that can go with this, besides "wait until you get a job and move out"

Really hope things'll turn out ok...

The one-upping just seemed a bit... much. That's all.

Regardless, I truly am sorry to hear of what you're going through. I'm sure things will look up - things have a way of coming around when you least expect.

Thanks. I do tend to try and look on the bright side of things. And I would have a job if I had transportation.
I've had tough times before and gotten through them too. One of the things that keeps me going is the fact that I should get a HOPE scholorship should it still exsist when I graduate (I'm a junior this year).
