Normally, the year's hurricane season ends at the end of November. Not this year.

Hurricane Zeta has just been spotted.

I didn't even know hurricanes could form in the winter.

This has been a very educational hurricane season. It'll be something else IF we have to start worrying about these tropical storms (i.e. hurricanes, tropical storms, tropical depressions) for a longer period of time.

Meh, it's just a little tropical system that's gonna fizzle out in a couple days.

Kinda makes you wonder, though. Are they gonna wait until the season "offically" starts in May to tap into the new names, or just go ahead with them if a storm shows up earlier? I think they'll probably go ahead with using the list.

Personally, I wouldn't mind if they switch the Pacific naming system: 4 lists that they just cycle through regardless of year.

To put this topic up to date, the wind shear that could have "killed" Tropical Storm Zeta has weakened. This storm has a chance of obtaining hurricane status.

Maybe it's just me but hurricanes are seemingly getting to be a little too common these days. o_0

World climate is an up and down cycle...I'm not exactly sure if El Nino or La Nina is the cause of it but I'll probably look into it.

Right now, it would be La Nina. Though I'm not in the best position to type why {Im being lazy, can't you tell} I'm sure that with further discussion, the point will be explained :O

Well from research I did (Though I SHOULD know this), La Nina increases the amount of hurricanes by a great deal in the Atlantic...by chance. So it isn't conclusive...but La Nina is probably to blame.

This is why I moved North. TO ALASKA!

...To Atlanta at any rate. Still southern but meh. No coast for the SX.

I blame Global Warming for this.

No, no, I blame George Bush!

No, it's FEMA's fault!!!!

*flops on the ground as global warming hits him*
