Yes, it's true. For those who were wondering when Mr. Beast will appear in the next X-Men film, your wish is granted. According to Entertainment Weekly, on June 3rd Frasier himself signed the contract to play Dr. Hank McCoy (aka Beast) in X-Men 3. Right now, they are in their casting process so more info is yet to come.
However, in other news, Bryan Singer will not be directing this film. It's now in the hands of Red Dragon's Brett Ratner. Oh yeah, also expect Gambit and Archangel. They're confirmed too.

Wa-wa-wa-wait. They're just casting right now...they haven't even begun filming yet. Hmm...when is this movie's expected release anyway? But yea Kelsey as the Beast is awesome...one of my friends told me about it.

Thinking back to Fraiser reminds me that he's a great actor, so yeah. That should be good. Can't wait.
Although, I haven't even seen X men 2 yet. I dunno, I just kept on forgetting. It should be coming on Sky Movies soon, though. If it hasn't already.
I was surprised at that decision too, but thinking about it, he'd be quite good, as long as the CG/stunt work blending is good enough that his movements look right.

I've known about Grammer being Hank McCoy for month's, mostly because I'm a avid IMDB viewer and forumer. =P
It should turn out good, can't wait for Shadowcat as well. Hehe.
Best choice, IMHO. He'd do the perfect Beast voice, hopefully with a performance which will mirror the original X-Men cartoon's Beast, who was more fun than his Evo counterpart.
I heard Vinnie Jones is voicing Juggernaut. That'll be FUN
