Them poor kids!

A Times Square movie theater laid an egg at a showing of "Chicken Little" last night.

Adults and kids expecting to watch Disney's G-rated animated flick at the AMC Empire 25 theater on 42nd St. were instead presented with a foreign film that opened with a young man committing suicide.

"It's pandemonium," Joshua Gallo, 30, told the Daily News as he rushed out of the theater with his 5-year-old son and 1-year-old daughter. "The kids are crying. The mothers are screaming for the managers to stop the film."

Terrified children didn't know what to do as they watched a young boy hang himself from a tree at the 8:45 p.m. screening.

After five minutes, "Andrea," a Spanish drama opening today, was turned off and "Chicken Little" was played.

Patrons got a coupon for a free movie.

I hope the guy responsible for that little slip-up got fired and black-balled.

I can only imagine the parents trying to explain to their kids what they just saw after they walked out.

EDIT: There, you bastard. It's called a typo. YOU try and make sense while you're doing 3 school reports and eating.

Um, I can only disagree with Geo. You don't make too much sense.

Now I believe children should have the gift of living in a perfectly perfect world while they're young for as long as possible - something many are denied, especially today.

OHNOEZ EXPOSURE!!

Well, anyway this is pretty serious but I can't stop laughing at the thought of some kids like Rod and Todd Flanders going, "Daddy, is that Cranberry juice coming out of him?"

Kitty Farmer: WHY ARE THEY SHOWING OUR CHILDREN PORNOGRAPHY!!!!?!?!?!?!?!

All I can say is, that was a very very stupid mistake, and I hope it's not repeated anytime soon. With all the hastle that went on during the Star Wars openning earlier this year, I'm guessing that a few people are either losing their jobs, or some new people are being hired to prevent stuff like this happening again.

Hope the poor kids weren't disturbed by it, I know if I was 6, expecting cute innocent kiddy fun and saw a guy choke himself on a noose, I'd be screaming *shivers*.

Wow, at an AMC theatre too. I am an employee of AMC, so I hope anyone who hears this news won't be suing AMC or something... that would suck, I guess.

It's a better chance to keep their kids from becoming Emo!

I bet it was a prank. Half the time things like these are planned out. How ironic to play something so crazy "accidentally" to a group of young kids and parents waiting to see their family friendly movie? Yeah. Buncha jerks, I say.
