Just watched MXC on Challenge. For those of you that don't know, MXC is basically Takeshi's Castle, just renamed for american programming.
I have a query! MXC! It stands for (apparently) Mega Extreme Elimination Challenge. Where did the extra E come in in MXC?
M = Mega
X = eXtreme
? = Elimation???
C = Challenge
Can anyone tell me where the E came from? I was splitting my sides throughout! And not because it was funny! lol
It actually stands for "Most Extreme Challenge Show." In the earlier seasons it was reffered to as that, but in more recent episodes, it's been called MXC.
Bah! It was, is and will forever be Takeshi's Castle because "Beat" Takeshi Kitano wills it and his will is law.
I thought it was just Most Extreme Elimation Challange. I used to watch that show all the time. I would laugh so hard when it was on. Anywho, yea they just call it MXC, now. Laziness if you ask me. =P
The names of some of the games was hilarious!
Hand Job was Show of hands for example.

I agree completely. Don't you think that they have sort of screwed up a very basic idea! But hey, that's just me.
Never watched that, but I've seen Takeshi's Castle
I've seen the show a few times but sometimes....I dunno. XD It can realy hilarious, if not slightly scaring me away from future sexual contact.

Irritable Bowl Syndrome is a great showing of skill if you win it, and the name of it always make me snigger.
I can confirm that it's called Most Extreme Elimination Challenge, that it's the greatest game show ever, and that it can be viewed on Spike TV in Canada.
Viewable on Spike TV here to...well at least it is where I'm at. And the show is a hoot...never laughed harder...
I'm afraid the commentary paled in comparison to Craig Charles, in my opinion. I just prefer his blunt humour over anything else.
I think the bad English dubbing just makes it better, personally. Though I wish they'd put out DVDs.

Agreed.
