What is the name of song where the only lyrics of it is 'Hallelujah' On shows, I usually hear it when a miracle happens.
According to Wikipedia, it is from the oratorio "Messiah" by George Frederic Handel.
It is section #44 listed, clicking "play in browser" confirms.
...A "jingle"? I believe you have just offended 250 years of music lovers, good sir.
Hey. I usually like a small sample of it. I may be a Christian but even I can't know all gospel songs. o.o
^^; It's not a gospel song at all, it's either a classical or baroque oratorio (a story told only through song. Differs from opera by the fact that there is no action.... I think).
I'm leaning toward Baroque, only because Handel wrote it.
On a different note, Paul Basler's "Alleluia" OWNS MY SOUL. <3 <3

Isn't it also known as the Alleluia Chorus?
Yep. We had to do the "For Unto Us A Child Is Born" segment in choir once. Let me tell you, it's murder on the vocal cords.
I only called it a gospel song because it praises Jesus
Rap and country songs praise Jesus.
and like almost every U2 song...
Most of my favourite dance songs praise God or Jesus
(and I'm a Wiccan, but I heart Christians )
