Do you ever do embarassing things when people are watching? Deliberately? To get attention? Do you just not care? Are you spontaneous?
My theory on spontinaity is:
Will you ever see any of these people, ever again?
If you will, were they drunk anyway?
If they weren't, will they remember anyway?
If they do, will they care?
Most of the time, the answer to any of these is 'No'. So go ahead and be spontaneous.
Have you ever done anything stupid and regretted it? Got any tips on being spontaneous? Anything like that.
I have done so, so many stupid things whether drunk or sober, but in the end my friends forgive me and that's what matters. I've lost count of the people I've sworn at, gotten into fights with, made public spectacles of or accidentally exposed my wang to, but I find it easier to just accept what I've done and move on. If I worried about embarassing myself I wouldn't have half as much fun as I do. I have a glorious lack of inhibition and I'm damn proud of it. I'm also an attention whore. 
There's only two things I regret in my life; not working as hard as I could have at school, and the way I acted so bitterly to my ex-girlfriends, but again, I just accept it and move on.

Sounds less embarrassing than practical, to be honest.
When I don't want attention, I stay out of everyone's way, I sneak around trying not to attract attention (very Solid Snake).
However, I've got nothing against embarassing myself when I want to (falling down stairs for a video for example, that was fun), as long as I'm not hurting anyone else, I'm fine with it. I don't really care for a reputation with most people. Heck, I find it hard to embarass myself with the people I know, they're all pretty crazy.
Of course I've done plenty of stupid things, but like J man said, you can't dwell on the past all your life, go out and have fun.
I don't blame you Harley, it has been way too hot today...
Though I've been keeping cooler by having lots of lots of Sun Lollies! 
As for embarassing yourself, I usually keep pretty quiet to avoid that.
