There has been a lot of hostility between my group of friends recently and...I've been feeling rather bad. The rest of the group didn't want to be with one of us anymore, and...well I didn't think he deserved it. It was...a very hectic time, even concidering leaving all of them myself. But, well...I just ended up letting them be split and I was friends with everyone. However, they are always asking how the other side is doing and such and....Eck. x.x I end up lying a lot to all of them, and seemingly enraging both sides.

I feel I've been a terrible liar...has anyone else been apart of something like this? I'm...out of time right now so...I can't further explain, I'll post more after I sleep and wake up.

as i said when we spoke about this, sometimes the best thing to do in situations like this is to yell 'i'm swizerland!' and refuse to take any side in an arguement between two of your freinds.
especially if your envolvement appears to be worsening the situation!

when the relationship between two of my closest freinds broke down, the girl respected my wish to not become envolved. but the guy would requently quiz me about what she was doing, who she was seeing and what she'd said about him to me. it was a horribly uncomfortable situation to be in, but he eventually got the idea and stopped asking.

a split in a group of freinds occasionally happens, so don't beat yourself up if things aren't finally resolved and people end up going in different ways.

I dont really think anyone can be entirely neutral. Even if you make an effort not to be involved to some extent your sympathies are with someone involved.

Admit a lie you've come up with to your friends. When they make you feel horrible about yourself you'll stop lying quicky.
