The 25-foot-tall, 17 1/2-ton treat of frozen Snapple juice melted faster than expected Tuesday, flooding Union Square in downtown Manhattan with kiwi-strawberry-flavored fluid that sent pedestrians scurrying for higher ground
Hmmm, okay. Sound yummy to me...
But yes, it is rather funny.
Now that's what I'd call a sticky situation
Serves them right for trying to pull off such a stunt in this sort of weather. When I see these food stunts, I always think, "Hey, what about those starving children in Africa?"
What the hell did they think the thing was gonna do? Evaporate?
XD Very funny. Gave me a laugh I've been needing all day!

Eventually, after having melted, leaving behind a nice sticky residue - like most forms of flavoured ice. They certainly didn't seem to be expecting it to melt as fast.
I can't say that the record breaking attempt is something I'd support particularly - a bit of a waste of resources - but the failure is quite amusing...

Actually, I agree with that. Good point.
Ice cream beats popsicle and rapes it.
