Young Frankenstein was always one of my favorite movies, and he was really the only interesting character on Raymond. It's sad, but he was old, it was just his time. He passed away peacefully with dignity, and I'll always remember him fondly.
He actually went to my college, and was a member of the Christian brothers de la Salle there for a while before leaving.
Aww, sad. My family is big fans of campy horror films so I well remember seeing him "Puttin' On The Ritz." He'll be missed by many.
He had some other great comedic, dramatic, or both roles too, including being the star of one of the best episodes of the X-Files ever. Peter Boyle was superb in basically everything I've ever seen him in and I'm sure in many roles I haven't.
He died today!? Thats really sad to hear, i wasn't familiar with him in anything else particulary besides Everybody loves Raymond, and he played one of the funniest characters on the show.
PUTTINONNARIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITZ
RIP, Peter Boyle. You made me laugh pretty much everytime you went on screen, which is more than I can say for 99% of humanity.
A great man and a superb actor. He will be missed immensely.
Wow. He was like, the only funny thing about Everybody Loves Raymond. Not very familiar with his other work, but he was a great actor and I'm sure he was a great guy, too. My condolences to his friends and family, even though they won't even see this.
This sucks.
I'll admit, I don't watch Everybody Loves Raymond that much, but when I do I always get a kick out of his character. It seems like all the good actors are kicking lately.
BTW, I've seen Young Frankenstein, but I don't remember seeing him. Who did he play?
"HO-LEE CRAP."
It had to be said ='(
='(
He was the monster.
That sucks even more. The monster was one of my favorite characters.
