I have found out that a new Sherk 3 is coming out for 2007
and Sherk 4 for 2009 from a website i found. If anyone would like me to find out if a movie is coming out in the next 4 years ask me and ill find out!
Other movies: Scary Movie 4 and Toy Story 3
Wow. Movies are coming out?
You didn't even give us links or details about how we've known the plots for both movies since before Shrek 2 came out.
The Knights of the Round Table idea sounds like it'll be fun.
Toy Story 3 has been known about since Pixar quit Disney and Disney announced they'd do TS3 without them.
No one cares about Scary Movie.
^_^
The exact date for Shrek 3 is May 4th, 2007.
I can't really give you the website, though - this came from my theatre's guest services book, which I kind of can't take from the theatre. :p
I like Shrek and all, but do we really need a 4th film? Talk about overkill. I've even heard rumors of a 5th one, for pete's sake.

WE MUST MILK EVERYTHING UNTIL THE UDDERS ARE DRY AND THE COW IS DEAD.
WE MUST MILK EVERYTHING UNTIL THE UDDERS ARE DRY AND THE COW IS DEAD.
Don't forget giving the milker carpel tunnel syndrome!
ALL ABOARD THE CASH COW TRAIN WOOWOO
Looking at the idea of Shrek 4... I think I'll wait for the next train, thanks.
You're already on one Jaffa.

Those aren't movies, they're sequels! An entirely different beast altogether, whose popularity rarely is the result of master storytelling but rather familiarity.
Well to be fair, Shrek 2 was better than Shrek...
You liar, Craig Bayfield!
I appologise. Indeed, an opinion cannot be stated as fact nor can it be a lie.
Fortunately, proof is against me, as Shrek 1 is in IMDB's top 250, where the sequel isn't.
*Pouts and prays for Mongo*
I'm inclined to agree with Craig, about preferring 2, actually.
This doesn't mean I have any faith in the prospect of more sequals.
I find it hard to think of any trilogy or longer of films, bar the Star Trek lot, where they continued to be good or better from 3 onwards.
Even my beloved Ring trilogy.
Every once in a while sequels kick butt (Empire Strikes Back, Godfather Part II, Spiderman 2, etc.) but on the whole they are a sorry lot indeed. When the other Shrek sequels surface, I'll wait and see what my friends and fam say about them before I start applauding/condeming them.

Seconded. I preffered the second Shrek as well to be honest.
I like the Toy Story series but it isnt going to be done by Pixar so... D:
If this movie is at the same level of quality as The Godfather part 3, then look out.
Three other Movies coming out is:
The Simpsons:the movie. (200
Dragonball z (200
Madagasger 2 (2007?)
Simpsons movie should be good.
The idea of a simpsons movie sounds alright because, well, it's the simpsons. If it stays as funny as the series, I think it'll be good.
But about Shrek, I think they're overdoing it a little, and I too agree with Craig; Shrek 2 was better.
THAT PUSS IN BOOTS WAS SO FUNNY
Simpsons movie = Why? they've done everything.
Vector Sonic Heroes style Look a Like John Cena starring in a remake of the Predator = NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
*The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that John Cena is up for a major role in a remake of the movie Predator. If he gets it, it could be a huge opportunity for him outside the world of wrestling.*
Puss in Boots was funny.
Theres a source, that I could gather from my vacating IMDB alot. It seems, the Simpson's movie is sheduled for 2008, not 2006.
Also, another DBZ movie? Doubtful unless it's another import from japan. DBZ movies are usually from what I saw a few years back- decent if you are a fan of the series. Shrek sequels are obvious because well, like many said "milk the cash cow" until it is dry. They did it with JAWS, and god we know what happened there. They were going to do it with the Polterguist series but alas we know what happened there. Toy Story 3, like Craig said has been known about for awhile. And well, Scary Movie is really only meant to be a spoof movie- only meant to make you laugh. Heh.
And yes, Shendu next time- please show us where you got your information.
Mike out.
Another DBZ movie? Don't they have like 13 of them out already?
I'm also looking forward to the Simpsons movie. Despite the current Simpsons not being as classic as the older episodes, I'm still a fan watching my fair share (read: obsessively) of the dsyfunctional family, thank you very much.

This DBZ movie is a live action, theatrical, Hollywood release. Plans have been kicking around since way back when DBZ was cool.
Live Action. DBZ.
Ahem.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Hollywood has unleashed hell.

Oh, yea, that DBZ movie. Just what I want to see; live actions with big, yellow spiky heads. Fantastic...
Well, could be worse, at least that rumor of the Pac-Man live action movie is still just that (although last I heard about it was from, like 2002). I mean, how do you make Pac-man live action? He gobbles ghosts and pellets and fruits in an neverending cycle of mazes, for pete's sake.

You are forgetting the worst cash cow of all, The Land Before Time. There's, like, 20 of them by now. o.o
The biggest cahs cow by far is Star Trek. They aren't even trying to have a cohesive plot anymore, they just throw together some fancy space talk and stock footage of Spaceship fights with dialogue consisting entirely of shifting power to shields or blasters or stuff like that.
Star Trek is dead. Seroiusly, is "Enterprise" even on the air any more? Cuz I don't see it. And "Enterprise" had quite a coherent plot. What ARE you talkin'bout, Wonder?
EDIT: I seem to remeber a Series finale a while back, and there hasn't been a Star Trek show since. Maybe someone would say Star Trek sucks because they don't get it/like it. I like that kind of thing, like Star Wars ans stuff.

Tool.
In all fairness, however, that's only really been true of the last 2. Out of 10.
o.o @ Xag quoting my sig along with my post.
