I thought she meant something like Publisher's Clearing House (which would have been funny if it was, especially since I don't do it?) But instead she read me a letter:
"CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! You are our GRAND PRIZE WINNER! Your submission to our 2005 Art Contest won first place not only within your age group, but for the entire contest as well! As our GRAND PRIZE WINNER, the UCSD Autism Research Program would like to present you with the enclosed $75 gift certificate to Michael's. As an aspiring and talented artist, we hope that you can use this gift certificate for materials for future artwork.
We were overwhelmed by the number of submissions we received for this contest and would like to thank you for taking the time to submit a piece of your work. Select pieces of art from the contest will be displayed around our laboratory, so thank you also for your contribution to the beauty of our lab. ....So, yeah. That was my day. And counting the fact that I learned I'll be walking the red carpet at a movie world premiere for a movie I was in.....yeah.
