Does anyone have the slightest idea where i can find sprites for Sonic games (and hopefully SATAM and Archie), backrounds from the games, and sounds. I've been on captainn.net and sfghq.emulationzone but I need more than what is available at captain.net and stuff compatable with Game Maker, not Game Factory (latter of the two sites). Thanks for your help!
satAM and archie don't use sprites, so i'd leave those out of your list, unless you're looking for fan-made edits.
a quick google search came up with sonic spriters network. but you'll need to credit the makers/rippers of the sheets if you use them.
the spriter's resource has some more. try google for more websites.
i've never used gamemaker, so i can't tell you if they're compatable or not.
I was about to say, you can rip the sounds from roms, but I'm not allowed to put any links here under EZlaw.

Oh and I did mean fan edits. I know there were SATAM sprites in Spinball, but they were still and for some reason legless.
