This is the character I use as my username. She's also depicted in my avatar, blue hair and all. She's very tall, reaching a towering 6' 5". However, I don't associate this character with the MoFo much anymore, especially now that I've started using my real name around the boards.

As for a pose, she'd likely be posing with a peace-sign with a big, bright smile.

This is, like I said, character me. Of course it's not detail-perfect and is extremely chibi, but the important elements (like glasses and pointed ears :3) are there. Brown hair, fair skin, green eyes, and bluejeans. Either a light blue or black shirt in that style.

As for a pose, crossed arms, looking over shoulder/glasses with an amused smile.

Aw, I don't have an animated picture of me. When I created my username, I did not intend for it to be a character, and I still don't really. I guess this picture of Super Sonic I use as my personal icon, and formerly my avatar, has come to somewhat symbolize my name.

There are most of the renditions of Tergonaut, as well as a few other of my characters.

I do this too much.

My hair's actually that thick and just about reaches my shoulders. Rabbi and Trudi (who didn't draw the hair long enough, poor lass) were delicious enough to draw some references, so you can see that I'm skinny, smirk often, and have something to do with trays (which are optional in this pic). I'd also prefer to be drawn wearing a dark blue shirt, and in case height matters, I'm 5'6".

Good luck on not giving this up after a week.

Ipresume you have a scanner, scan any pics at high res, saving using the build in software. If your scannzor doesnt havesuch (most do) then use an image editing software (searh google) to import from scanner. Then resize till applicaple.

There are other image hosting sites out there besides photobucket. If you can't upload it there, try something else, like imageshack.

You prolly kept them in .bmp, knave. If so open up ifran, mspaint, or paint.net and convert it to jpg/jpeg or png.

If you are using a Windows OS, you definitely have MS Paint--usually found under "Start" - "All Program" - "Accessories" - "Paint." Paint will allow you to change any bmp file into a gif or jpg file (possibly even png if recent enough). If you don't want to use Paint and have a Windows machine, get Irfanview. Otherwise, try Gimp (which I used in college when I used Unix or Macs).
