This leads me to believe that it is another part in the towns high schoolers tv show lineup, which just proves to me that the "popular" thing in my town for the high schoolers is to be as ganster as possible, while to the old people, gangster means mafia. therefore, whenever ganster is said, the mafia comes to mind in everyones head who is at least 4 years out of high school.
What that has to do with the show, is that along with all the other shows of that nature, it gets its ratings from high schoolers who want to be gangser, but not a mobster. So whats cooler, a gangsa or a mobster?

If you were hoping that all of the responses would be finely-crafted paragraphs addressing the strengths and weaknesses of the show and its characters, then I would like to welcome you to the Internet.
Getting all pouty and insulting the posters was immature. When Alex tried to playfully shrug off your rude remark, I don't see why acting like Sailor Grammar with PMS was called for.
Anyhow, I have never seen this show and frankly I'm uninterested. I'm not a big fan of TV in general, and reality TV specifically annoys me, especially the talent search variety such as American Idol, that show about Grease, and.. well... this. Add that to the fact that I don't really like rap and you have a plethora of reasons why I can't offer any specific opinions on the show.

Wasn't pouting, and I wasn't insulting them. I was making a sarcastic generalization based on the responses they had put in. Also, I wasn't trying to act like Sailor Grammar--anyone can tell you that I constantly point out spelling mistakes. Habit, I suppose.

Now, if people haven't even seen the show, which I doubt most of the people who replied even have, responses more like this would've been a lot more welcome and acceptable. Unfortunately, most people treated as if I was some moron for trying to start a discussion with the few people who might actually also enjoy the show.

I don't dislike the show because of the hip hop genre.
I just don't like the people on it. I think they're really, really annoying.
