I wasn't even aware there was one in serious consideration. The line about casting for Transformers made me giggle until I realized they meant voices.
I would have had a good laugh looking at the costumes if they decided to do it the way you were originally thinking because these would be the worst looking Transformers of all time.
If only they could bring back the original voice actors. But it was always weird to me that Optimus Prime sounded like he was from Texas. Starscreams voice is just awesome though.
To me he sounded more like John Wayne.
I just hope they add children to it. If they do the movie will bomb just like Armada did.

I figured it would be confirmed. I'm thinking it will either be awesome or leave-2-minutes through it horrible. I hope they can get an awesome voice cast again, if not the people who did the original who are still alive.

Old news. I've been attempting to track the process from rumour to actual production, but they haven't even made a teaser trailer yet...and to think they projected a Summer 2006 release.

BTW has anyone seen that CGI ad with the transforming car that dances? It's a good indication of what a Transformers film could look like.
