I came across this map of Mobius, earlier! It's incredible!

It's definitely fan-made, but how accurate do you think it is? Several things I've never heard of, such as "Axxhelairon" and "Ultimatropolis," and I can't find Megaopolis. Also, I didn't think Knothole Village and Robotropolis were a part of South Island.

Um...wait...I'm confused...This must be a mix of comic and game sites...um...Carnival Isle? This is nothing like the Map from SSS#2...
it's been made for various roleplay groups, and so will most likely include places and names made up only in those RPs. it isn't an official map at all.
but it is very interesting to look at other people's take on mobius.
i don't think carnival isle is the right place either, as noone here made it. possibly SPA is a better place. *flags down a fellow mod/admin*
I can see a few locations that sound inspired from Sonic the Comic (Fleetway.)

According to the map, Robotropolis is over 1100 miles away from Knothole. o_o (Please correct me if I calculated that totally wrong, because I probably did.) And "sight" should be "site". And the Egg Carrier's crash site should have nothing but ocean behind it. On the map, it's in a little nook.

Now that I know I did the math right, continuing with the same 100,000 square mile scale... Och, the railroad from Station Square to the Mystic Ruins is about 1580 miles long, and the Egg Carrier crash site is about 316 miles from the shore of the Mystic Ruins.

That map belongs to my friend's RP group, I've had it for years now since I first found it. Do not think they really care as long as no one takes credit for their long time work. Most of the make is pretty acurate to the details supported. If I recall correctly the two large gray landmasses are the ones they made up. Everything else is pretty dead on.
Well if anyone is interested, my map of mobius is done as done can be- I edit it every hay and a day but I'll link it for conversation - I suppose.

The only bad thing is that in both cases, Ron's friend's map and Mike's, they have fan created locations. It doesn't like, ruin, the map or anything but it really isn't what most people would call a "canon" piece of work so it doesn't really belong on a reference site.
Doesn't make them any less cool being unofficial. I see your point though. It probably doesn't belong on that site but, whatever.
Didn't say the maps weren't cool. Just that a reference site may lead people to wonder, "Whats that? I never saw it in the comic." 
A very nice find, but the map isn't very...accurate. The mapmaker probably never heard of 'Sonic X'.
Station Square is on Earth (supposedly), not Mobius. And Angel Island was connected to Station Square at one point. That island must move around far more than I expected. And in random directions.
South Island is supposed to be floating as well...
