Hey chaps.
Inspired by a recent thread in the EliteSPA, I have decided it's about time we had another voice exchange. For the terminally stupid, the concept behind a voice exchange is ludicrously simple: record your voice, upload it to the internet and post a link for all and sundry to listen to it. Basically, it's a photo exchange, except with voices instead of photos.
Anyway, it would be rude of me to make such a topic without posting my own voice to get the ball rolling. Click here to listen to me speak (yes, I know about the typo, but I'm too lazy to fix it). I was going to sing a song as well, but I wanted guitar and vocals at the same time and my mic is too crap to pick up both at once at a decent volume (unless I like lay down with my head next to my amp or something) and it's too late at night for me to bother with recording separate tracks and getting the timing right to mix 'em together and stuff, especially since my only recording tools are a free mic that came with some language learning software and Microsoft Sound Recorder.
So yeah, post your voices.

Anyways, here's mine. It's only up for seven days, so if you want to listen to it you should do so as soon as possible.
Wow...I'm scared now...Here are my contributions...If I can get my hands on a mic, I'll do one especially for this topic...
First clip...This is me after a football game...The first time I recorded our after-game activities...You'll hear the que "Boston what the heck is that?".
This is my narration for...well, you can see. Normal voice...yeah, it sucks, I know...
Final one. The last one. My 'voice acting' skills...I take on the roles of Morpheus and Agent Smith from the Matrix...in spanish...for the full file go here. The transitions from the real movie to our project are pretty good too...
95% of the time, I have a cold which screws up my voice, but today isn't one of those days, so enjoy.

Craig: If you think the audio is good, you should skim through the vid... You'll get the rare chance of seeing me dressed as a girl, riding a tricycle... You'd be amazed at the stuff I do to get laughs and/or good grades... I lost my dignity a long time ago... Who in their right mind dyes their hair blue and goes and does an inflatible guitar act in front of their entire class?
I really envy you guys...I'm stuck with a plain old Mid-west accent (and not even one of those redneck "Ya hey der" accents either)...I'd give anything to have a cool accent (preferably a Irish accent...yeah, I just saw The Boondock Saints for the first time last week)!

Craig, your voice seems to have lost some of its cockney edge and become slightly more upper-class than I remember. Then again, maybe I'm just remembering wrong.

Defying Gravity (please right click and save as)
If you've seen the musical Wicked, you'll know what this is. If you haven't, this is the dramatic huge song at the end of the first act. The main character singing is Elphaba (played by me). The other character who pops in once in awhile is Glinda (also played by me!). Both parts could have been infinitely better, but I can't be bothered to retry it at the moment. I need water.
I had no idea what to say, and I was inspired earlier. ^^; I'll have a more voice-exchangey clip later on.
EDIT: Oh yes! And I listened to all of you as well.

Hiro, HEY! Don't go hating on midwestern accents! I rather like yours ^^ It's not as nasal as others I've heard, therefore it's cool in my book. ^^ The narration is freaking awesome. XD XD I've yet to see the Spanish Matrix, though.

How did you think it was said?
Most people can't say Lokki, either. They see the double k and assume it's lock-key, when in actual fact it's pronounced low-key (although I can't guarantee this is true for the Finnish word lokki, since I don't speak Finnish, or any other possible instances of the word lokki that aren't connected to me). Strangely enough, though, Windows Narrator succeeds where most humans fail, pronouncing Lokki Gallansbayne near perfectly. Maybe for my next sound file I should just list off all my characters' names so you all know how to say them right.
I always pictured it low-key. Nuch-tose with tose being like in "comatose" and Nuch rhyming with "Much".
Does that make me british?

Man, y'all voices are nice. OTB, Craig, and Nuch, I love y'all's accents as I do all British accents; I wonder if y'all Brits have the same fascinations with American accents as we(or at least I) do?

Marky, your voice is cool, but due to the mic problems you mentionned I couldn't really understand some of what you were saying, which kinda ruined the humour. I liked the bit about pompousvampire at the end, though.
Sagey, you're a talented singer with a wonderful voice. However, sometimes when you had two vocal tracks going at once, they seemed to sort of clash a bit, like they were ever so slightly out of key relative to each other or something. A beautiful performance overall, though.
This, my friends, is why I have no business criticising anyone's singing ever. If any of your ears curl up and die upon hearing this, blame Zerosky, not me: he's the one who showed me Audacity and thus enabled me to record it easily. 😛
Yeah. In case you couldn't tell, it's me singing and playing the final chorus of Starfire by DragonForce. Most likely it's horribly out of time, since I had no reference while recording other than myself (I was playing the guitar without amplification at the same time, as you can hear if you listen carefully - the distorted guitar was recorded separately), and most definitely the vocals are horribly out of key (or just plain horrible, you decide).

All of you guys sound... interesting. Sagey's rendition of Defying Gravity suffered only from the lack of chorus parts at the end, which I gladly supplied myself. And Deck should look for professional voice work. I could imagine him saying, "You've got mail!" for some company or something.
