I saw that in the newspaper today and I thought since most of you people like mechas I shall post this here.

Someone...actually built...a mech??
*sob*
I wanna a mech. T_T
Didn't we see some article about some guy in the States doing something akin to this first...and cheaper? I think the artic le's somewhere linked deep down in the graveyards of this forum.
That's not a gundam. A mech, yes. Gundam, no.
ME WANT.
Sweet. There was some guy in Alaska(or somwhere) who built a mech too. His only problem is he's $20,000 in debt. Poor guy, but you know when the tax collectors he can just blow them away.
I remember the article about the guy building a mech in his back garden, but I've never seen that before! It looks like fun. 🙂
...what would it shoot?
Looking like that: anything it wants to.
Well, the mecha would shoot rubber pellets from its two guns. And: the guy who did it actually said that he tried to copy it from a Gundam mecha... but anyway - the interesting thing is that you can actually rent the thing for a day (or more, if you like) even though in this article is says nothing about that.
Wait a second, isn't 36 million Yen only, like, 40 thousand dollars?
Screw buying a car, I want one o' THEM.
I would look so boss "driving" downtown in one of those beasts.Plus if anyone said anything I could just shoot them in the face with its NERF Chaingun.
Damn. Just. Damn. Screw buying a nuke bunker or a vintage tank, I'm getting one of THOSE beasts!
All it really needs now to be complete is a missile rack so you can create your own parking spaces for it. 😀
I've got a new idea for Gran Theft Auto....
... Continuing on Jaffa's comment...
"We need backup! He's got a Mech!"
Grand theft Mecha. >_>
'I'll beat you!'
'You think you can beat me?'
Better start saving up.
