Two old guys in a grayish minivan are following me walking home about 20yds behind me, driving at about as fast as I'm walking. I look back, never seen them or the van before, so I shrug and keep walking forward, past my street, and they keep following.
So I make like I accidentally missed my street and turn around, to go back. They pass me and pull into a driveway, and I chuckle at my paranoia and head forward to my street, jogging now. I look back, and they're pulling out of the driveway, they just used the driveway to turn around! So I skip my street AGAIN - note, they're moving a bit faster now, as I'm jogging - and head for a cutoff between two houses, where there's an area that's not fenced that leads to a wooded area behind my house. The area isn't well visible from the street. So I turn onto the house's yard to go back, and the minivan stops in front of this house. So I continue down through the wooded area, knowing that when I turn to go to my house they'd lose sight of me and I look up, and they sped literally pedal-to-the-metal out of there and out of the neighborhood.

Now I thought I was being paranoid, but turning around and being followed like that kinda proves it, at least to me. I would call the police, but I didn't get the license plate and I don't know who it was.

EDIT: Anyone who I told the rest to: I was right in the first place, it WAS her mom.

To everyone else: Don't worry about a thing.

Woah. I mean woah man. That's a experience many fret but never happened to me honestly. I would be careful, maybe carry a cel-phone or camera on self when it could happen again. Be careful and that's all I can really say.

Maybe get a carpool home from school?

That is never a fun situation....you really should make sure you stay safe next time. And to think, I thought my walks home suck because of the kids who smoke on my path home. >_>

*hugs* Hope you're doing well.

Be careful! That is really freaky. Definitely tell your parents... I like Mike's idea about getting a carpool home...or at the very least, get a friend or two to walk with you!

Never had an experience like that, and I don't really want to, either.

That's kinda creepy. o.o It's never happened to me on my walks home, and if it did, I probably wouldn't walk home again. Hope you aren't too shaken by this.

I usually walk home with a friend, but we split paths halfway through my walk so, it's pretty creepy when your alone.

i'm glad to see you were so sensable about it, and made sure to get away from them without revealing your home! you still need to report it to whoever can help you (school, family, police) with all the details you can.

after one of my flatmates was followed home and molested after the guy forced his way into the building, then went onto do the same to another girl.. i've had to be very aware of who's around me and not to walk anywhere when it get dark. but i've always got my panic alarm in one hand. ^^;

I carry my cellphone (with built in GPS chip and camera) and I can see my school from my house (Far too close to ride, it's not even ten minute walk). But if it happens again, I'm calling the police and walking down a certain long dead-end street I walk my dog on. I know several places where I could duck out of the street (I'm sure I can outrun two men who are pushing 80) if it came to that if I went there, and if I did such, the police could cut them off from fleeing.

I would report it but I have no proof anything happened, all I have is two old men in a grayish minivan. Next time, I'm getting lisence and pictures.

Hell, the two men could have been lost and was watning to ask for directions. so I'll wait and see what else happens.

Wait wait wait... you've got it all figured out and you're not gonna tell us??? PFFFTTT. Laaaaame. Glad you're alright and all that, but c'mon, you can't start something like this and not tell us wtf. S'like danglin' a carrot infront of a horse! C'mon now! OUT WIT IT!

It's a long story, and I'll kill many important details, but the gist ofit is: Overreactive mother of my girldfriend takes the phrase "he's my boyfriend" to mean something sexual. Things happen from there, and this all happened this afternoon mind you, and it turns out she was the one following me.

I can think of many things that would back her off either subtly or forcefully. You have one, IM me if you need more.

Trust me, have many more than just one. It's a sensitive situation for reasons I'm not about to post, but calling the police would be rather bad.
