It's like the "What are you listening to/playing" threads, but with books.
I finished reading Velocity by Dean Koontz a few days ago, so right now I'm reading Tony Hawk's autobiography, Hawk - Occupation: Skateboarder.
I'm about 3/4 of the way through Wicked so far ^^ Tis a fun read so far, and I can't wait to see how different the play is. The soundtrack already alerts of many differences, but it's missing quite a bit that I will see in three weeks from Thursday 😀
Just got past the painfully slow part, too. (Why do I always get to the slow parts on weekends and yet always catch the dirty sequences during school? >> )

My stupid French 2 notes..
MERD!!
MacBeth: 100% (Had to do it for English 11. >_<)
Count of Monte Cristo: 50% (Seventh time, Reading this book. ^^)
Mortal ALlies: 15%
The five people you meet in Heaven: 100%
Out of a fit of nostagia, I'm reading the Animorphs series. Remember those? I have about maybe more then half the collection, so I sadly regret not getting the rest and had to resort to spoiling myself to see what happens. I plan to make it my goal to get the rest of the series.

Good luck with that. I'm only missing about two in the entire series. o_o Damn you @ Applegate for releasing 60 books.
Anyway, I finished up the entire Chronicles of Narnia this weekend. I cried at the end of The Last Battle. =(
The Star Wars: Heir to the Empire series. Plus any Classic Battletech novels i stumble across.
I just got onto Ultimate Spider-Man...
When it comes to manga, it runs the gamut from Naruto, One Piece, and Bleach to Dr. Slump, Death Note, Rurouni Kenshin, and Beet the Vandel Buster.
When it comes to actual books...the most recent one I finished was Eldest, Book II of the Inheritance trilogy (and sequel to Eragon).
Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, Megaman NT Warrior, gonna TRY to get Art of War read over Christmas break.
Right now I'm over halfway done with book 3 of Tamora Pierce's Song of the Lioness quartet. After that, I might finish Slayers novel 5, then I have a couple things checked out that I should probably read before renewing them into oblivion. I can say for certain that when my new copy of The Story of the Stone Book 1 comes in, I'll be rereading that. The five books of that novel and several other books from my Chinese and Japanese lit classes in college are ones I really regret selling back when I was pressed for cash big time after graduation.
Currently paused between books. Have been leafing through the Potter series for reference after the 4th movie, but aside from that I have two book marks in Wicked by Gregory Maguire, one about half way through, one about the ending making it my 3rd and 4th readings of the book. I also have Mirror, Mirror by the same author, but haven't attempted to read it yet.
50 page PowerPoint presentations for my science exam...and lovin' it!
*overbearing sarcasm*
Just starting the first of the Halo books, The Fall of Reach. So far it's pretty good, but when it doesn't have to do with Master Chief (i.e. moaning about other people for entire chapters) it starts to bore me.
Towards the end of War of the Worlds, which I haven't read in donkey's years. Next stop, The Time Machine, which I've never read.
I just picked up a copy of the Dr Who book "Reckless Engineering", which is set entirely in post-apocalyptic Bristol, so I'll enjoy rereading that afterwards.
Oh and while I'm at work (lunch breaks), I'm reading MSTings of Lion King fanfics.

I'm reading The Austere Academy (book 5 of A Series of Unfortunate Events) again today. Nero was in TPP, so I wanted to read this one again.
My girlfriend is REALLY into that Memoirs of a Geisha book. Has anyone heard anything about it or read it?
Apparently they're making a movie based on the book, and I was forced to make a promise to go to the theatre to observe its greatness. It's being produced by Speilberg, so it must be a fairly big deal.
I'm not one for mellowness, but she's so enthusiastic about it, I'll give it a try.
Well, I just finished reading Phillup Pullman's The Amber Spyglass and dangit, I wished I had not. It seriously left a bad taste in my mouth and it ruined the first two books(especially The Golden Compass) or the trilogo for me. The "love" scene was especially dreadful =X.
Right now, I'm reading Slayers: The Sorcerer of Atlasby Hajime Kanzaka and it's enjoyable so far.
Mary Shelly's "Frankenstein". I'm a big sci-fi/horror fan, so I can't believe I haven't read it yet.
I recently finished Mark Haddon's The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time and Dave Pelzer A Child Called "It".
Somebody had to say it.
