So, what books, etc. have you been reading lately?
Well, at the minute I'm reading Feet of Clay, a Terry Pratchett Discworld Novel. I've recently read Reaper Man and Interesting times, too, and have got Jingo and Carpe Jungulum to read after that from the library (all the same author and series). Also, I've gotta read the three Sin City graphic novels I got for Christmas (although I've read one already), as well as a Leauge of Gentlemen Script book. Whee, lotsta do. Probably more on top of that that I've forgotten, too.
I just finished reading A Pale View of Hills and I plan on reading Wicked next. After that, I have a twenty-dollar gift certificate to spend at Barnes and Noble, and I'm not sure what I'll buy with that.
I've been reading "PIMP" by Iceberg Slim.
Quite graphic... >>
"No Plot? No Problem!" by the creator of NaRaWriMo.
"The Satanic Rituals: Companion to the Satanic Bible" by Anton Szandor LaVey.
If nothing else it's helped me practice my French.
I've lately been reading Ken Akamatsu's "Negima! Magister Negi Magi" manga, picked up #8 the other day.
I need to start work on"Afterglow" by Michelle Plank. I work with her at the Kroger where I work.
My SJ USA issues that I never got to read in the past because of lack of time.
Far, FAR too many Sonadow fanfics for my own good. Also some good SonAmy fanfics, which is unusual.
Over the weekend I was reading Diana Wynne Jones' "Conrad's Fate", a book in the Chrestomanci series.
Right now I've got a book on Cult TV. It includes "the A-Team" and "Knight Rider", but not "MacGyver" It also includes "DangerMouse", but not "Count Duckula"; and "Taz-Mania" but not "Tiny Toon Adventures". Bizarre. No "Inspector Gadget" or "Mysterious Cities of Gold" either. But "Alias Smith & Jones" is included along with "the Man From UNCLE", so it's not bad
Next read is "The Witch of Clatteringshaws", the final book in the Wolves of Willoughby Chase series.
After that, if Amazon hurries up and ships it, is Koji Suzuki's "Spiral" (sequel to "Ring").

Just finished Audrey Niffenegger's excellent The Time Traveller's Wife, a somewhat unusual and extremely well written love story...
I've now borrowed a copy of David Gold's Carter Beats the Devil, which I've been eyeing for some time...
I'm reading the classic '1984' by George Orwell.
I might start reading 'One Loaf and Two Fishes', a book written by a priest who was imprisoned by the Vietnamese government for 12 years...seemed pretty interesting and it is only about 100 pgs
