They are poisonous snakes. Obviously, garden snakes do not kill off FBI witnesses.

I know garden snakes don't kill people. But for the movie do they use poisonous snake for the movie? (If they do, bye bye actors)

Of course the prop snakes aren't venomous, or had venom glands removed. What kind of question is that?

I can predict, due to my experience at working at a movie theatre, that I will be seeing people bring fake snakes wrapped around their necks, shouting "SNAKES ON A MOTHAF*CKIN' PLANE!! YEAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" on their way into the house. It's going to be a jolly day on August 18th...

Everytime I read this thread, I start to shout in my head: "SNAKES ON A PLANE! SNAKES ON A PLANE!"

I'm quite excited as you can all tell. 🙂

In preparation for opening night, I've made my own Snakes-On-A-Plane Costume. It consists of rubber snakes and a paper bag mask with "Samuel Jackson" scribbled 'cross it. As for the plane, I intend to wave my arms and make take-off noises. Should be the highlight of my young life.

The countdown has entered the final 10 days, children.

Call theaters and start reserving seats for opening night.

Call friends and arrange carpools to the movie as well as synchronized acts of wackiness in the theater.

Start preparations for anti-head explosion procedures to protect you from the dangerously high levels of awesomeness.

And last but not least, from now until the 18th, watch every one of Samuel L. Jackson's films. Stay up all night, every night if necessary.

A movie this hilariously awful and awfully hilarious only comes along once in a lifetime, kids.

All right, I just got back from the MIDNIGHT SHOWING, WHOMG!

Let me just say that if it wasn't for the fact I was with ten of my friends in full-costume (see: either wearing rubber/plastic/stuffed animal snakes, wearing cardboard-and-ducttaped wings, or both) and that everybody was shouting and applauding whenever something happened, I would have thought it was a terrible movie and it would have scared the crap out of me. :3

Gratuitous blood and gore aside, it was a very fun experience. The whole concept could have made a much better comedy, but I thought it was funny that they tried to take it seriously.

Yeah, that's about it. It's 3AM and I'm tired.
