Wrestlemania 23 Is Less Than 3 Weeks Away!, And it's looking really good

www.wwe.com/shows/wrestlemania/matches/

World Heavyweight Championship: Batista vs. The Undertaker

WWE Championship: John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels

Hair vs. Hair match: Bobby Lashley (w/Donald Trump) vs. Umaga (w/Vince McMahon and Armando Alejandro Estrada) (w/Steve Austin as Special Guest Referee)
In this "Battle of the Billionaires", either Trump or McMahon will have his head shaved if his representative loses.

Money in the Bank ladder match: Edge vs. CM Punk vs. King Booker vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Mr. Kennedy vs. Matt Hardy vs. Finlay vs. TBA (possibly Randy orton)

The ECW Originals (Tommy Dreamer, Sabu, The Sandman and Rob Van Dam) vs. The New Breed (Elijah Burke, Marcus Cor Von, Matt Striker and Kevin Thorn) (w/Ariel)

Women's Championship: Ashley Vs. Melina

and it looks like Kane vs. Kahli and much more

Are you ready for it, I know I am!

*tumbleweed bounces past*

Yeeeeaaaah, I don't think there's all that much interest in the so-called WWE 'round here. Nevermind the "it's fake" angle (because... well, c'mon), but I get the feeling that, for this crowd, watching big sweaty guys in spandex holding hands and falling on top of each other is a little too... hmmm, what's the word I'm looking for?

Oh yeah: JUVENILE. And this is coming from a guy who used to watch the old WWF matchups religiously. But ever since Vince McMahon took over as president, this "sport" has become a whole lot sleazier. Where the biggest draw isn't who gets to wear the coveted WWF Championship Belt, but which lady wrestler gets the most clothes torn off, or who gets humiliated the worst.

It constantly suprises me how many professional wrestling fans there are on this forum. Even if the number always hovers around the 5 people mark, it shocks me that many are around.

Of which, of course, I am one, and I'm very looking forward to this Wrestlemania.

While I agree that the sport has become more "sleazier", I personally believe that American entertainment as a whole has become more sleazier, and I do not blame Vince for honestly going for where the money is. If he didn't, this thread would be about Starrcade instead of Wrestlemania.

But it seems like this Pay Per View isn't going to have any clothing removal, and it's big draw will be "Will Donald Trump get his head shaved?".

But of course, the man pulling me to the show is my personal favorite, The Undertaker, as he either claims his first WWE Championship out of the 15 Wrestlemanias he has been to, or as her suffers his first Wrestlemania loss, with Batista ending the most successful pay per view track record in professional wrestling history.

The show starts at 7 on April 1st, and I'll be at my local PPV-showing restaurant/bar to watch it by 6.

I've fallen out of love with WWE really (which is really sad for me). Three **** champions. There is no surprise any more. So much so I can pretty much guess who is gonna win at Wrestlemania.

One thing that has annoyed me is the fact the most over guys aren't pushed to the spotlight (Matt Hardy, CM Punk) but Bob Holly is still there for some reason.

Also Vince McMahon has always been president of WWE Psx.

Mr Kennedy is still cool.

Kennedy.

Mod edit: Watch the language, please

To be honest, I still watch the WWE on some occassions. Not as religiously as I used to say about two years ago, but if it's on and I'm not doing anything particular, I'll sit down and watch it and have a good laugh.

Truth be told, I usually try to keep up with the plot as sparingly as possible, just so I can talk about something at the water cooler at work. You'd be surprised how little people know about video games when you work in big buisnesses...

So, reading that Batista {DA MONSTA ^_N} is up against Undertaker is a shock to me, I dunno how to take that. You've gave me reason to watch Wrestlemania 23.

Screw Trump. Screw Divas {<<...Ah you can take that the wrong way too} Screw Shawn Michaels -Who I prefer over HHH any day - but Cena just makes me laugh so its ok.

The 8 man match looks eeh. Did the old guy die yet? Ummm..what's his name...THE old guy-...Part of Evolution...You had Randy, Batista, HHH and him ><...

Yeah, done now.

I stopped watching wrestling when John Cena's lameass character actually caught on and became completely indestructible.

Lame s**t is lame.

Since then, fans have been torn between cheering him and booing him out of arenas. Sometimes both in the same ten minutes. Or simultaneously

WWE? Man last time I watched wrestling you have WCW for hilarity, WWF for sleaze, and ECW for blood.

And I swear I will ban the next person that mentions Vince Mac... *bans self*
