Well, as I'm sure many of you know from my telling you in the AIM chat, today was the beggining of Spring Break for me. That meant it was time for me to head off from Philadelphia, back home to New York.

I followed my normal routine. Lugged all my luggage down to 30th street station and hopped on the Acela regional to New York Penn Station. Then I quickly lug my luggage down to Jim Hanley's to pick up me Sonic comics. BTW, I finally caught up with #118, #119, and #120. I can post in Knothole again, Yay! Anyway, then I lug everything back to Penn station and hop on a crowded peak LIRR to my hometown of Massapequa out on Long Island. Then it's a short walk from the station and I'm finally home.

I was in for a shock this time however.

I walk in the house, and I get the usual flurry of greetings from my mom, my sisters, and my dogs(the cat just sits there pretending she doesn't care, but deep down she's happy to see me too ). I start lugging my bags the final few steps to my room to place them down, as I turn the doorknob, my mother screams at me not to open it. It's too late now though, as I open the door to reveal.

OH MY GAWD, MY ROOM HAS BEEN PAINTED COMPLETELY PINK!

That's not all, all of the furniture has been taken out, as have my various New York Mets posters. Apparently my mother decided to have me swap rooms with my sister...and she decided not to tell me until I walked in the door and found out the room I had lived in since I was a child was now pink.

*sighs* I guess I'll just have to get used to a smaller room.

What about the rest of ye. Parents ever pull something like this on you while you were away?
