But Sonic, and his many variants. Why does it seem people get so tetchy in South Island when someone mentions Archie/ SatAM?

You don't get it in Knothole, nor the Special Zone. Why there though?
I don't see any problems mentioning it. Yes, its SegaSonic/ Sonic Team, but Knothole is SatAM/ Archie only, and people mention SegaSonic in there, but do the regulars come down on their ass like a tonne of rabid fanboy bricks?
