Many of you already know this, but I'm going to be leaving on my two-year mission in Utah for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day very soon, in fact this next Wednesday, which is February the 12th of 2003. There are many things that this mission means to me, but the main thing that will affect everyone here is that I won't be online to maintain this board, nor to continue RPing in the chatrooms like I have been.

I'm planning on updating my site very soon with some more pictures that others have done for me, but due to all the stuff I've been doing, I unfortunately won't have any more stories to update the Mobius: Second Tyranny saga with. However, I'm not going to abandon the site completely. My plan is, when I come back, to continue writing the Mobius: Second Tyranny saga and post it onto the web site. It was the Sonic the Hedgehog SatAM cartoon and the inspiration given me through it and the early fan fiction writers that started me off as a writer, and subsequently it's part of what got me to the Roleplayer's Guild at Sonic Headquarters, so in a way, my writing this series is my tribute to the cartoon that started me off as a writer.

I'm currently writing a story to explain my absence in the Mobius Forum World setting - that is, an In-Character explanation. It will account for both Tergonaut and Terrornaut, who have been my two primary characters in the MFW setting. If I have enough time, there'll be another fic that I'll also post with Tergonaut and Terrornaut. I'll probably post these in the Carnival Island forum.

This mission is a two-year deal. That's a long time, especially since the only reliable contact that can be made with me is through snail mail. I might have access to e-mail on my mission, but that entirely depends on what my mission president thinks is appropriate for missionaries, and I doubt it since my mission area is here in the states and therefore it's not that hard to send me letters for anyone stateside. This is the address for the mission home, not my actual place of residence. I'm going to be moved from area to area within my mission, residing in apartments and/or the homes of members, and so if I gave you the addresses of the actual places I am at, it's possible I'd miss letters when I move again. If the letters are sent to the mission home, it may take slightly longer for me to get the letters, but I believe I'll get them for sure, barring any accidents in the mailing system. Please address any letters you write clearly so that you don't have to worry about letters being thrown away or sent to the wrong address.

If you wish to find out more about the Church, I would direct you to www.mormon.org, a website set up by the Church for non-members. I would also encourage you to find a local ward or branch of the Church and ask for a copy of the Book of Mormon, which we use alongside the Bible in our teachings.
