I've been home from college for about a week and a half now, and I am completely sunk. I knew I was going to have to get a job to get some spending money for next semester, what I didn't plan on was having my parents holding a gun to my head the whole time.

I just went downstairs to make some breakfast when I learned from my mother that I wasn't allowed to eat from now on until I was employed.

It's not enough that I've applied to three different places, been turned down at one, and still waiting for the other two to contact me? I mean, what more can I do to please them? If I say I'm waiting for Starbucks and Barnes and Noble to call me back, they just yell, "No, get a job now!". I've tried that, there are next to no places in the world that let you just walk in and poof you're hired.

I haven't eaten in a day and I'm hungry and stumped. What should I do?
