Got back last night from a weekend road-trip to Boston with my friends. Specifically, we went up there to attend classes a Harvard University.
....The Harvard University School of Bartending that is.
...Yes, there really is a Harvard University School of Bartending. The classes were held in the Science building.
Now I know what you're all thinking. "Srol, I thought you hated the consumption of alcoholic beverages for enjoyment.". I do. But I've always been fascinated with bartending. Bartenders are like cooks in a way, except they have to deal directly with their customers, not only to deal with their complaints and requests, but also to make small talk and try and make the customer feel more at home at the bar. Also, bartenders make a LOT of money :P.
So anyway, I now have a diploma that certifies me as a "Doctor of Mixology" and qualifies me to serve alcoholic beverages.
So pal, what'l it be?
