I have only SA:DX.. can't we extend the game to SA as well?

It's been a whole year since TD killed me when I failed to complete the 180 challange on the weekend of 11/11/05.

What? Are you serious? You've got to be s**ting me...wow, time really does fly. I might try it this time, but as you know, I didn't join last in time because a lot of the emblems are no fun. At least I have time to raise a chao this time...I lost my beloved chaos chao a long time ago.

Anyway, I'll probably take part. Again. 😯 Gamecube again, for the record. I might boost up my Normal Chao and Angel Chao a bit since they barely passed for the emblems first time round >> Likelyhood is I won't make 180 again, I'm too bad at getting A's on some levels without concentrating fully.

I'll give it a go, for some reason I never get sick of SA2. It's possibly my most played Sonic game.

I'll be playing the Gamecube version, because I have a nice save file with a chao I raised in Tiny Chao Graden because that's the only way I could keep them alive long enough to raise their stats high enough... unless I deleted it (Jezusss I hope not).

Wow. I have yet to get all 180 in the game and I've had it for a few years. I'm at 120, and that's only because I got my roommate interested in the Chao, so he insisted on making the ultimate Chao, which resulted in me finally getting all the Chao emblems.

I wish I had the free time to take part in this, but alas I do not.

Well, I played SA1 and beat it, and got all the emblems. I wasn't able to get all emblems for SA2, IT'S SO HARD!!!!!!!. :"> If only I could have something that will get all the emblems, like a game shark or something.

I think i'll be able to participate, only that my game is completely scratched up and won't work, maybe i'll just buy it for the gamecube and get my gamecube some more playing time.

Your disc could've ended up a LOT worse. My brother stomped on mine, went "OOPS!" and then rolled over it several times with an office chair.

It ended up in at LEAST 8 pieces.

well mine can actually reach the main screen but won't load any levels. for some reason i think its the only disc game that is so scratched up it won't play. and it was one of my favorites.

I know I'm going to regret this but....

Last night my DC SCART arrived, so I can now start training my Neutral Chao of amazing speed and skill. Hopefully the monotomous task of going in and out of Sand Ocean and Pumpkin Hill for Bats and Dogs. I have no idea what my gameplan regarding swimming ability is. Getting Mud Monster takes about 30 seconds a pop as Rouge in Egg Chamber and 45-60 as Sonic in Green Forest >>;

*Sighs* I wish I had the GC version, this is so much harder without.

As for the challange weekend, my dad's in hospital having surgery, I have to go to pick up Jeff Wayne's autograph at a signing on the Saturday, so I should be able to pull it off, though of course I'll be handicapped by work and queuing for several hours to make my dad smile when he's out of hospital.

Ugh, both Rouge's and Knuckles' last levels drive me crazy when it comes to time attack. And one of the challenges for Security Hall, I think it's hard mode where you have to get the emerald shard that's inside the vault... I never could work out how to open that vault, I just mashed all the buttons for an hour until it finally opened.

I'll be keeping the SA2:Battle GamesFAQ page saved to my favourites next week. We're allowed to do that right? I can't remember where all the hidden items are.

Yep, guides and reference are legal. Study hard, young champions... because I spent 4 hours on that stupid Chao last night and he still can't win all the begginers races. GLITCH THOSE ANIMALS YOU SORRY SON OF A GUN!

So when do we officially begin? I know it's friday 10th, but I live in Sydney so I'm something like 20 hours ahead of the US and 11 hours ahead of the UK where I think Craig's at. That's more than just a little head start.

I'm willing to start on another local time, which will probably run over into monday but that doesn't matter since I don't work, go to School or open my curtains for sunlight. I wouldn't have brought this up if it wasn't also race to the finish.

Being that I'm in the same boat (Heck, same time zone as well), I'd guess we could just start at our proper time, and finish at out proper time. Then it's just as matter of honour, and no cheatseys.

Well the final score is based on gameclock time, rather than time of finish, though of course the first to finish gets mad props. As the Friday-Sunday bracket is the same wherever you are, it starts Friday, ends Sunday night.

I'm willing to say "Friday Morning" to be sporting, but for the majority, it'll be Friday Evening, due to work.

My Chao still aren't strong enough

Just noticed the update. Next weekend should be fine too, my shedule is free for the next 50 years. Hopefully I can finish FFXII before then, it's been taking up most of my time lately .

And forget all that time zone rubbish, I didn't think that it'd just be easier to mark down the exact local time you get all 180 emblems, so it doesn't matter.

Kay and Von Karma have now completed EVERY race in my 180 savegame, meaning they're all unlocked and prepared for Friday.

I'm gonna take a break for at least an hour. Current count: 40 emblems in just under 4 hours. Yes, it sounds slow, but that's the Story Missions cleared as well as the Kart and Boss minigames. Got the most time consuming parts out the way (well, aside from Chao and A ranks maybe), so now I can blast through the rest tomorrow.

That's what I meant. To put it simply, I need another 70 emblems today, which will probably be impossible considering the first 70 were the easy ones. I haven't even tackled any of the Ark levels yet.

Had a quick play after QI, I'm at 50 emblems, time just over 4h 45mins. I've gone for some of the mission 2s/3s (no particular order yet) and mostly got As, and also cleared all As in Cannon's Core, also achieving the A rank emblem for that. Score.

Not sure on my target for tomorrow, but definitely more than tonight.

Meh. About 2:30 on the clock, and only sitting on 36 emblems which is all first missions, all end and one kart.

Day 2 gave me 52 emblems, for a grand total of 123. There's still thirty mintues left of saturday, but after continually dying trying to get that damn chao in Final Rush I decided to finish up for today or else I'll probably scream. At least I juuuust passed my minimum for the day.

Is it just me or is there no possible way to open those safes in Secuirty Hall? GamesfAQ says dig in the black middle part, but that doesn't work no matter where I dig. If I have to listen to "I can't" one more time... :">
