Okay from imdb there is going to be a movie called 'Sonic' featuring Jessica Alba. But for some reason people think it is about our hedgehog hero.
But in reality I wish there was a movie for our blue guy.
Okay, so it's about 6 years old and wasn't originally intended to be a movie, but instead to...what, partial episodes, I guess? But it still says "Sonic the Movie" on the cover, so hence my claim rests. 😡
Actually, that anime Sonic movie wasn't too shabby. I picked the DVD up for 4 bucks and I've seen it about 22 times over the course of 2 years. It's only an hour long, the plot's cheesy, the animation is dated, and the English dub is horrid, but for some reason, I like it. However, I use the term 'movie' very leniantly, I wouldn't really consider it a movie. In Japan, it was just a 2 episode series I think, they just slapped movie onto it in the US to get people to buy it out of curiosity. Personally, I wouldn't mind if somebody made a live action film based on SA2, provided they stuck to the story and did a good job. They could stray from the story a little for about the first half hour to introduce Sonic and the gang ( Who would hopefully be CGI, none of that Cat in the Hat crap), then the story could start picking up once Eggman discovers Shadow and onward it would make for a pretty good scifi/drama/comedy movie, if executed correctly.
I know what you guys are talking about. But as pac said, I agree. I don't really consider that a movie.
I would call it "A Miniseries Compilation." Or something.

And yes, StA is really two episodes in a miniseries hot glued together for the rest of the world. It didn't turn out bad at all, didn't it?

Yeah, I quite liked it, but I thought it was an entire comic series squished into one hour. o_O
Well, at least it wasn't boring.:P
