I have a wii and have recently downloaded Mario 64 and now i have been comparing Mario's recent with Sonic's and i cant belive the difference in quality. Mario 64 which came out way before Sonic Adventure is still a much better made piece of pure greatness alhough SA is good it doesnt compare. Mario kinda folpped with sunshine but its still better than random sonic titles such as Sonic Riders. Next was Sonic Rush a very good game but when compared with the New Super mario bros (also on ds) it is so much better. After is the new Sonic2006 which is apparently filled with bugs and horrible loading now if we compare this with Mario Galaxy well you guesed it.
Im not a Sonic hater i love Sonic really but Sega need to stop doing rush projects and really concentrate one real game every 2 years perfectly polished is better than 5 glitched up messy games isnt it? And to be honest im losing my faith in Sega and Sonic team now i never thought i would all the *&^% ive put up with off them.
Don't worry, most of the gaming internets feel the same way.
I'm sure Galaxy is going to be great and will be the surpasser, but wouldn't it be better to compare it with Sonic Secret Rings of Great Wildfiringness? At least that game shows more potential than Sonic PS360 did.

Or Sonic fanboys that may or may not be delusional but still think the 3D games are good and/or great and think those who don't like them are entitled to their opinion no matter how much said fanboy disagrees. I myself have played SM64DS, and while I enjoyed it, don't think it was that great or think it was better than SA. If playing on the DS makes it not as good, then I may download it when I get my Wii.
Well, I liked Mario Sunshine...A lot, around that time I was also playing Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, and I thought they were both great games!
Yes, Nintendo has better control over it's quality, and Mario games are probably always going to be more fun, but still, I like to stick by Sonic in these dark times, we can only pray that 'Secret Rings' is gonna put the series where it belongs, as a true competitor to Nintendo's Plumber!
^Somehow, I don't think Secret Rings is going to have the same critical acclaim as Super Paper Mario or Mario Galaxy. However, I'm hoping Rings would be at least, a game I can enjoy.
totally agree with Ashide there rings should be fun but its not even a real Sonic game from the look of it.
