Ok, I know everybody has had these moments. Awkward moments. Moments where video game characters have said, done, and/or suggested something that made you look around to see if anybody saw/heard/thought what you did. This just isn't the games either. I'm sure somebody sunk in their chair when Amy said "You were a kid?" in SX.
Hmm... awkward moment... oh, yes.
Just about every last second of Sonic Heroes was embarassing, but I've already gone over this.

yeah good times, i thought japanese were so badass when that came out lol
The entire of episodes 6 and 7 of Sonic X made me shrink while watching it, the baseball ep did aswell in some ways, but ep 7 takes the prize of most embarrasing moment of my Sonic Fandom.
Incidentally this was the last ep I watched in Japanese before the SA1 arc, due to my sheer despising of the childishness of the series and it was also the first dubbed ep I saw.
The dub just made me cringe, more.
Sonic's lines in Heroes about teamwork really made me cringe;
"Let's find Eggman, and show him THE REAL SUPER POWER OF TEAMWORK!(tm)"
"Let's show that creep THE REAL SUPER POWER OF TEAMWORK!(tm)"
Urk... I forgot the quotes in Heroes.
"LOOK AT ALL THEM EGGMANS ROBOTS!"
"Why? Why can't I beat you" "Because WE'RE SONIC HEROES!!!"
The line "Sonic Heroes" being used in the game made me cringe, Knuckles doesn't seem the type to allow that arrogant blue fuzzball to label him as a sidekick.
Anything Charmy said was inconceivably annoying, also Vector's line against the second 50-robot boss "It's truly amazing!" really made my cringe, and lets not forget the amount of times we hear "Froggy". Also I was a bit surprised to hear Amy to shout out "Oh my God!" but I was more impressed that some of the dialog wasn't just childish crap.

every time big opened his mouth in sonic heros i couldn't help but cringe. as a character he's fine, but his 'dumb' tone of voice just made me wish they'd allowed him a little more intelligence in the voicebox department. (i'm meaning i think they overplayed it slightly)
charmy's random comments were fine, they fitted to his character. ^^
as for "THE REAL SUPER POWER OF TEAMWORK!!" ..i just yelled 'argh, CHEESY!' at the TV each time. c.c; it simply doens't sound like something sonic would usually say. plus 'Yeah! we're sonic heros!' ..is..well. less cheesy, but also something that sounds out of place.
"Oh YEAH! Our nxt adventure awaits us, so there's no time to lose! YEAH, WE'RE SONIC HEROES!" Followed shortly by a really cheesey victory pose involving Sonic swearing at me...
WTF! They've been Sonic Heroes for the length of the game in game time- THAT'S 3 DAYS!
And Eggman in Sonic Adventure 2:
"If I doooooooo... What's in it for me?"
Amy from Sonic Adventure:
"NO! Not the birdy!"
In fact, the only none cheesey quotes were from cool characters- Knuckles, Shadow and Rouge.

It's the name of the smaller rail-riding enemies, I believe. There were bots called Rhinos in SA2 as well.

It's Espio that says 'Shaaa'... that was the first time I said out loud 'WHat is he like?!?'
His 'Spirits unite' was a bit cheesy to me as well. Otherwsie he seems pretty cool... 'I FAILED!'
Team Dark definately have the coolest dialogs... no complaints there!
Yeah the line about teamwork that Sonic keeps saying just makes me slap my forehead and say 'Oh brother!'

I was even considering turning it on mute whilst playiong team rose and listening to Eminem.
Well, I did feel a bit awkward during a few cutscenes from SA2, due to some emotionless voice-acting.
I guess the first thing that comes to mind with that was the cutscene before the final Tails vs Eggman fight. I mean, everyone thought Sonic was dead!! If I were Tails, I'd be talking like I wanted to jump outta that mech and tear off Eggman's head with my teeth.
Instead, we got a monotonous "...Sonic..."
Hearing Ella for the first time....no, wait, that one is just scary.
Embarassing, having Sonic Heroes for over 2 weeks and have ONLY beaten it with one team. The game is just too damn frustrating. I just gave up on it. I'll come back to it...in God knows when.

What are you stuck on? I started off playing Team Dark (the hardest so I discover later on *slaps forhead*). When I got to that second stage in Grand Metropolis, escaping the rising lava was murder and I had to do it again and again and I thought that was it for me with SH. Sometimes you need to take a breather, then go back to it.
I've finished all teams but right now it feels as if I'll never get all the Chaos Emeralds... I just feel as if I have zero control over the characters in the special stage....argggh!
Oh, I've just thought of something else! I think it's hilarious how in 2P battle mode, Shadow says something like 'You'll regret this!' And if your opponent is Sonic team and you whirl them around and around, Tails tries to act all hard and say 'You'll pay for this!' Te he he!
Most embarrasing moment in a Sonic game... so embarrassing in SA2B near the end when Sonic and Shadow are turning super doing... ahh... "uncool" things with their hands...
It might not have been so bad if my mother hadn't walked past my room and said,"Are you playing a porno game?!"
It was so embarassing back then, but now... it's kinda funny.
