Chaos Angel from Sadv3 had awesome music and backgrounds. Level design seemed off, though. The altered versions of SCD's levels also come to mind.

S3&K. Lot's of levels, different routes to take, a storyline that could be understood with no dialogue... it's perfect.

Eggman's always been awesome. Both Bristow and Pollock have done amazing jobs as him. The SA2 Shadow was also cool.

6) Favorite Plot

The Death Egg saga that carried over from STH2 to S3&K. How that thing kept surviving is beyond me, and finally taking it down in S&K was quite satisfying.

Sonic's simple "Get to the goal ring". I like SA's treasure hunting, though.

The Bubble shield's bubble bounce from earlier games. For those of us who didn't understand the Barrel of Doom, that was our ace in the hole.

Tails hands down. Blaze is the runner up. Omega is on par with Blaze.

Death Egg from Sonic and Knux. Emperor Palpatine would be so proud.

3) Fav. Era

Hard to say. I like every single one, save for the SEGA Saturn era, where they were too desperate to make something good.

4) Fav. Game

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Sonic and Knux 3, and the first Sonic Adventure.

5) Fav. Boss/Villain

Must I repeat myself? Black Doom. He's the classic "evil alien warlord trying to 'help' Earth".

Next gen is just too much to think about. Shadow is not official in my book. So, I'd say that Sonic Rush is the best.

2D and 3D. I just don't care about the gameplay, as long as the goal is nothing ridiculous (get to the balloon!....what the hell?)

Uhh....Wave is hot.....Espio has that "I'm a ninja, stay away" thing about him....Big needs more attention.

Okaaaaay...if they ever showed the "Final Egg Blaster", it'd be that. But, seeing as how they didn't, I'd say that big a$$ laser that Chaos shoots from his mouth.

1) Favourite Character: Tough one... Knuckles. Because, he was a great rival to Sonic.

2) Favourite Zone/Level/Action Stage: Too many. Either Star Light Zone or Lost World. Lost World had a very epic feel. And Star Light Zone is just such a nice place to be.

3) Favourite Era: Mega Drive Era. The Saturn Era was all about Traveller's Tales, Dreamcast was alright, The only real highlight (for me) was Riders. The Mega Drive Era set the (seemingly) impossible high bar. I'd doubt it is impossible but they are making a meal of things at the moment.

4) Overall Favourite Game:
(1) Sonic 3 & Knuckles: The culmination of some 4 years of work and development.
(2) Sonic 2: Still brilliant.
(3) Sonic Adventure: So far the best 3D Sonic game. Adventure 2 might have tightened up the controls and improved the graphics but it lost a lot of the charm from Adventure.

5) Favourite Boss/Villain: Dr Eggman: Yes, he has lost every single round with a 3 foot tall, flea riddled blue hedgehog, and has been used as a way of making his creations/discoveries become more threatening. But he is still the main reason we play Sonic games.

6) Favourite Plot: Adventure 1.

7) Favourite Game style: I've had a soft spot for the Gamma style shooting. But classic Sonic style get from A to B, as fast as possible / find the best route is the best.

Team gameplay, with customizable teams, in a huge multibranching level where you can frequently choose totally different parts of the level to play as a whim, and switch between the paths ocassionally. The level would have few pits, and any high track or platform areas would be optional paths so that falling just sends you to the lower paths, where there are less bonuses. No single character/team can reach everything due to abilities unlocking paths. Lots of enemies, some one-hits, some more powerful, you can either skip, or fight in miniboss-like battles, also on a whim. Oh and Gamma-style shooting to some degree on at least one character.

So a combo of Sonic 2, S3&K, and Sonic Heroes

I have a hard time deciding for favorite characters. ._. I pretty much like them all. But rather than not saying anything I say Sonic, because he's the one that started it all.

2) Favorite Zone/Level/Action Stage
Hmm.. Sky Base from Sonic 1 for the Master System. An awesome concept and also the debut of the flying fortress type of stages. Sky Deck is also a personal favorite.
I also like ancient ruins zone a lot.

Genesis/Master System.

4) Overall Favorite Game
Sonic 3 and Knuckles kept me hours and hours at it, I played it over and over many times.. My first couple of Sonic games for the Master System, Sonic Battle and Sonic Adventure get special mention as well.

Chaos is my favourite villain, though as a boss.. hmm.. I really can't choose, any of the Genesis games.

Running around, without being forced to go uberfast due to a clock limit (I HATE you A Emblems) and exploring around, looking for goodies.
