My Sweet Passion. Weird arse lyrics, for sure, and a funky tune to go with it. =D

Lazy Days Living in Paradise. C'mon! This is one simple and catchy tune. Plus, BIG!

Believe in Myself. It symbolises Tails as a character. I believe this song, and Tails' role in SA1, brings justification to his character, and signficantly matures him and grows him up from just being the sidekick character.

Open Your Heart. Pwnage, man. This song absolutely r0xx0rs. Sums up the entire story of SA1, and puts it pretty damn nicely, too.

Open Your Heart (Remix #3) I love this version of the main theme just as much as the original.

Live and Learn. Nicely ties in with the two 'hogs of SA2, and the final boss battle with BioLizard. RAWR! Also, rock rocks. =3

Throw It All Away. Shadow. *ANGST!* I'm a Shadow fanboy. =3 I like this style of music, and how the lyrics sit in well with Shadow.

BioLizard Battle. The battle against BioLizard as Shadow in the last chapter was awesome. Oh, and the song, too.

This Machine. Yeah, I love it. Shadow fanboy-fever struck again. =3

Team Chaotix. This song was rather catchy, to say the least. I liked it. Vector: FIND THE COMPUTER ROOM!

Follow Me. I don't know why I liked this theme. I really don't. o_o It's catchy?

What I'm Made Of. I know I posted a reason behind this one back in another thread. I absolutely love this theme, might be the fact that it should legally be Metal Sonic's personal theme, or the fact that it makes awesome battle music.

All of Me. Shadow fanboy.

Almost Dead. Shadow fanboy or not, I love Powerman 5000. ^_^

All Hail Shadow. People say it has the worst vocals, yet I don't see how. Oh yeah, Shadow fanboy. Thank Superman I'm not the only one who likes that song *points a thumb towards SX*

Waking Up. I like how this song goes, I really do. *Insert Shadow fanboy here.*

To be honest, I think I like 90% of the Sonic music. The music of Sonic just sets everything -- without it, it just wouldn't be a Sonic game.

Though, to name those that stand out the most: Sonic CD's American/Japanese soundtracks, and there's a song on Sonic Jam -- too much trouble right now to hook up the Saturn and see -- that just really touches me. I wish I knew how to extract the song out of there in high-quality. (I might go as far as designing you a website if you could extract the sucker. Seriously.)

But personally, I'm partial to the Crush 40 music myself.

I also agree some what. Crush 40 and Julien-k are good. Thanks to Sonic music, I like some types of Rock and Roll. (Jay z/Linking park > Encore/Numb > Best of Both Worlds Ever!)

Ultra, team ARTAIL have the lyrics. And Riders is 95% better thean Shadow. (The last stage in heros mode, were im stuck at, is extreamly hard, in a good way. I think)

Well, I haven't paid enough attention to level music (without lyrics) to really list any. I'm rarely disturbed by the differences in background music from original anime versus dubbed-anime. Most of the time the differences don't matter to me--and if it does, it's usually due to being a song playing in the background. Similarly with Sonic games, none of the level music really sticks out in my mind, except Mystic Caves from Sonic 2, which for some reason I do remember liking to bop my head to it. So it wins best "instrumental" music by rememberance default.

As for the lyrical music starting from SA, "Unknown From M.E." (SA2 version) is my absolute favorite song--Knux bias isn't the factor: the music bias on the other hand is. **huge r&b/rap fan** However, I also love "Live and Learn," "A Ghost's Pumpkin Soup," "Open Your Heart," "Throw It All Away," "Fly in the Freedom," "Unknown From M.E." (SA version), "Kick the Rock," "What I'm Made Of," "Team Chaotix," "This Machine," and "Sonic Speed Riders" (at least the 97-second version I heard from the trailer as I don't have Riders). Honorable mentions go to "It Doesn't Matter" (SA version), "Believe in Myself" (SA version), "My Sweet Passion," "Dive into the Mellow," "Space Trip Steps," "Deeper," and "Follow Me." I've never heard any of the songs from Shadow (or anything from Riders beyond the trailer) so those songs can't be factored into this at all.
