Hmmm Im just going to go through the main themes. We've had this question a few times though.
Sonic SA1 - Very emotional. I like it.
Tails SA1 - Bit too cutesy really for my liking.
Knuckles SA1 - No...Just No.
Amy SA1 - Terrible but the lyrics are addictive.
Big SA1 - I love this theme. Its stupid and catchy.
Gamma SA1 - Very Basic and emotional. I do like this becuase of the piano during the theme.
Eggman SA1 - Great theme. But not as good as his SA2 theme.
Perfect Chaos Revival - Sets the mood well and a good theme.
Game Theme SA1 - Very headbangy in a good way.

Sonic SA2 - American Pop Rock. BAH!
Tails SA2 - See Sonic SA2.
Knuckles SA2 - Again Bah! Not as cringe worthy as his SA1 theme though.
Shadow SA2 - I like it, fast and angsty.
Rouge SA2 - I do like this theme sometimes. Dont know why.
Eggman SA2 - I love this theme because of the Beatles references and it does suit Eggman.
Biolizard Theme SA2 - Again love this for the same reason as Shadow's theme.
Game Theme SA2 - Like Open your heart from SA2 I like it.

Team Sonic SH - Pre School Rock? Why?
Team Dark SH - Great theme. You can imagine a thousand Shadows dancing in the Fire while the Eggman watches. and smile.
Team Rose SH - There is something wrong when a theme for a team of Amy, Cream and Big actually is a lot better than the theme for Sonic, Tails and Knuckles. This is catchy.
Team Chaotix SH - Great theme. Suits the team well.
Sonic Heroes Theme - Quite good. Should have been Team Sonics theme.
Last Boss Theme - Love this theme.

SA1 and SA2 main themes.
Sonic, E-103, and Tikal SA1 themes.
Eggman and Shadow SA2 themes.
Team Dark, Team Chaotix, and Metal Overlord themes from Heroes.

It doesn't matter: Great theme. ^^ The lyrics are catchy and this song has a very positive message. Good ole' emotion too. Plus, it's more rock than SA2's version.
Unknown from ME: Love it. It's got rap that isn't all hip hop-ish... and I love the Jazz accompanyment. This song cheers me up sometimes.
Believe in Myself: Meh..... this one is so-so. A little too cutesey, but not terrible.
My Sweet Passion: Eh, it kinda weird, but I can still stand it for some odd reason. o.o
Lazy Days: Living in paradise: This song isn't my favorite.. but it DOES suit Big and Froggy.
E 120's theme: Pure instrumental.. =D I love the piano in this. Definatley one of my favorutes.
Open Your HEart: This song is quite good. It sums up SA2 in about four minutes and it's just fun to listen to. Third fave Crush 40 Song, after Live and Learn and WIMO.

It Doesn't Matter: Bleh... it's a cut up version of the original with a worse melody. It's also too short.
Unknown From ME: Too hip hop. SA1 was better in my book.
Believe in Myself: Much better than SA1, IMO. The full version is ok, and this version of the song seems.. more adventurous? o.o
My Sweet Passion: Cut up SA1 version.... no changed whatsoever beyond that.
Fly in the Freedom: It's ok. SOmetimes I like it, sometimes I don't.
Throw it all Away: ANGST! It's good. Wish it was longer, though. =/
EGGMAN: This song is quite catchy and fitts Robotnik nicely.
Supporting Me: Ugh.... this song is weird... I can't even understand the lyrics most of the time, despite having read them online. They just sound.. quiet.

We can: Bleh.. too happy and weird.
Follow Me: It's better than Team Sonic, but it's too cutesy for my taste.

This Machine: Besides What I'm Made of, this is my favorite theme in the game. Very dark and techno.

What I'm Made of: Another Crush 40 song I like. ^^ I actually find my self listening to this when I'm in a bad mood.

Waking up: WHEEEEEEEE Techno. XD Lyrics are kinda odd, but I like this.
Chosen One: It's ok. I like waking up more, but I sill liek this one.. kinda too slow for my taste, though.
Almost Dead: BLEH! Don't get me started on this one...
I am(full): Very good theme. Suits the game well with the lyrics. Things like "Capture you or set you free?" make a lot of sense for a game like this.
Never Turn Back: It's good. Could've been longer, but I like. Suits the ending to the game.

SA1: Open Your Heart was good, and Gammas theme just sounded like it was made for the chracter.

SA2:Shdows theme (Throw It All Away) had a great beat and feel to it. Knuckles made me want to barf (rap, which i cant stand) and Rouges got annoying after 30 seconds. sonics was ok. Tails was drop off from SA1. E.G.G.M.A.N is the second best in the game.

Heroes: Thought Team Darks was good as was Team Choatix

There are a couple Shadow songs that I haven't listened to yet becuase I want to wait to get the game before downloading the songs.

I was trying to decide what my top 10 favorite Sonic songs were. I think I deleted the original list I had, which was done before Shadow was release.

Anyways, let's see what I can think of off the top of my head...

All of the SA1 music ranks highly in my list, especially the Theme of Eggman, E102 and Lazy Days.

There was an album released after SA1 which contained tracks "Chaos Jam" and "Boss Opera" which contained segments of Chaos and Eggman's themes respectively, those are absoloutely amazing and deserve respect, thusly so do the songs which spawned them.

Team Rose's theme in Sonic Heroes has to get a mention because it's such an adorable tune, and I absoloutely love it. Of course while we're on Heroes, What I'm Made Of has to get an obligatory mention for it's pop rock headbangyness.

Knuckles Theme in Sonic 3 was pretty dang cool and needs a mention too.

I might as well add Chosen One (Semi-Hero Shadow's theme) as one of my favorites.

Can You Feel The Sunshine is all right. I've heard it so many times though I know all the words and sing it when I get bored o_O

I think that most ofthe Sonic R music was...well...weird. 😛

Unknown from M.E. Ugh, I hate rape, I really do, I only like this because of the one single fact is that it's about Knuckles.

My Sweet Passion. Weird arse lyrics, for sure, and a funky tune to go with it. =D

Lazy Days Living in Paradise. C'mon! This is one simple and catchy tune. Plus, BIG!

Believe in Myself. It symbolises Tails as a character. I believe this song, and Tails' role in SA1, brings justification to his character, and signficantly matures him and grows him up from just being the sidekick character.

Open Your Heart. Pwnage, man. This song absolutely r0xx0rs. Sums up the entire story of SA1, and puts it pretty damn nicely, too.

Open Your Heart (Remix #3) I love this version of the main theme just as much as the original.

Live and Learn. Nicely ties in with the two 'hogs of SA2, and the final boss battle with BioLizard. RAWR! Also, rock rocks. =3

Throw It All Away. Shadow. *ANGST!* I'm a Shadow fanboy. =3 I like this style of music, and how the lyrics sit in well with Shadow.

BioLizard Battle. The battle against BioLizard as Shadow in the last chapter was awesome. Oh, and the song, too.

This Machine. Yeah, I love it. Shadow fanboy-fever struck again. =3

Team Chaotix. This song was rather catchy, to say the least. I liked it. Vector: FIND THE COMPUTER ROOM!

Follow Me. I don't know why I liked this theme. I really don't. o_o It's catchy?

What I'm Made Of. I know I posted a reason behind this one back in another thread. I absolutely love this theme, might be the fact that it should legally be Metal Sonic's personal theme, or the fact that it makes awesome battle music.
