Wow, I think Sonic is gradually, ACTUALLY becoming more popular. Whether it deserves to be, well, speculation. But the point is, AoStH will actually be rerun on Disney XD I believe, and Sonic Action figures are on endcaps AND in sections of TRU. Theres this Rich Kuta fan-film coming up, too, and a few attempts at bringing back SatAM have been made recently. I think it might be time to make a drastic move in media... or maybe wait a couple years. What do you think?
No chance. Move along.
I think Sonic reached a new peak in popularity during the Sonic X run, around the time of Sonic Heroes/Shadow the Hedgehog. Not to say this suggested any form of quality in what they were doing. But still, for a while, it was cool to like Sonic again, and Sonic merchandise was commonly seen. It just left a warm feeling on the inside.
Besides, the last season of Sonic X was somewhat tolerable. I mean, by no stretch of the imagination was it GOOD, but it got by enough for me to watch and not feel sick afterwards.
Im watching Sonic X all the way through now on YouTube, on Ep. 20...
Did someone say a while back the last season had finally aired in Japan?
DW
Yep.
You mean, is there a season 6? Or just the Season 5 never aired there?
The last 26 episode story arc with the Metarex had aired everywhere else but Japan. It aired there last.
OK. That makes more sense. Thanks for clearing that up!

And now I feel as if I've stepped into Bizzaro World. Japan getting the final season of an anime produced there last?
Whhat?

Well, it's certainly unorthodox. lol

No and Silv's right. Though his new peak in popularity was nothing when it was like in the 90's.
Also they(whoever "they" are) will still make fun of you for caring about a "so-called-popular" franchise made for babbys. :^<
Im ten, which is UNDER 12, last time I checked, which means they still gear it towards me.
Again, I'm surprised that this board or should I say yuku(ezboard) allowed people under 13 to post in this board.
Technically speaking, the squirt lied to get in. But it's not like they'll do anything to stop him. And hey, why deny a Sonic site input from his new demographic? =D

Call me old fashioned, but I think the internet leaves a very "unique" impression on a 10-year old, but I'm just beating a dead horse

How so?
You really don't need to know. Trust me.
Whatever you do, don't talk to HPA about it.
Oh yes. The Rule 34 of the internet.
I already know.

You already know? At your tender age? I guess they're teachin' 'em young these days.

A kid using Google with one off setting can easily lead to shattered innocence. I'm kind of glad my family didn't get the internet until I was 14, to be quite honest.

I'm 22, and there are still things on the interwebs that disturb me.
I don't get disturbed anymore. I'm desensitized.
Nothing the internet has to offer has ever disturbed me.
That's great for you, Rishi.
But 2 girls in 1 cup... HOLY CRAP, that is the most DISTURBING thing...
And, you can thank HPA for the Rule 34 lesson.

I don't need to thank him, I knew about Rule 34 before I knew about him.
This forum introduced me to the existence of Rule34 itself, though I have been frequenting sites with such content since at least the age of 15. I was enjoying Rule34 of all my favorite series years before I learned that there was a rule that guaranteed the existence of such material for EVERYTHING.
Also, I am desensitized and plea innocence on all charges of wrongdoing.
Don't forget Rule 35!
But 2 girls in 1 cup... HOLY CRAP, that is the most DISTURBING thing... .
So you've already seen some of the worst the interweb has to offer. So, what exactly made you think looking at a video called 2 Girls 1 Cup would lead to anything good?
... And this discussion's nearly teetering on the edge in my book. It's already been established time and again that the internet can be just as disturbing as the real world, sometimes more so. In typical Mobius Forum fashions, randomly change the subject to something else.
Now that I think about it, I do recall there being another topic somewhere saying that a SEGA employee said Sonic wasn't cool for people over the age of twelve, anyway.
I need to cut the cord with Sonic. Sum1 help mee

Agent Klonoa here! Are. You. READY!?
Sonic is running along the line of "So bad its good" territory in my opinion. Maybe one day it will evolve (or devolve) in to a cult type fan phenomenon. Since many believe he is but a shell of his former glory, it would be like those Elvis impersonators.
Or 'so bad it's horrible'.
Klonoa = <3
Who is Klonoa?
The savior of 2D platforming.
*looks up* 2.5D platforming.
... If that helps.
Just remember to enable Safe Search!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VI988Su0i88 EEEEh I loved the snowboarding part. Always tried to get every gem but...of course failed. I always thought they were speaking in some weird hybrid of Japanese and French. I don't know why since I don't know either language. Even weirder I vividly remember the snowboard tune though its been decades since I played this game.......and now I want to play it again!
Yeah, I googled it already, AB. And it looks cool.
If you've got a Wii, get Klonoa for it. It's a remake of his first game. While it does have actual voice acting instead of the gibberish I've grown fond of and it shows a bit of age, I think it's all worth it.
Good luck trying to find the games, though. I was lucky enough to even play and beat them, but they were so fun. The Klonoa series is one of my absolute favorites, even more so than Sonic. (^.^)b
It still has the gibberish, it's just not the default language.
I saw Klonoa at Wal-Mart today. Unfortunately, I don't have a Wii.
Too bad. It really is a good game. I first tried it out on an old PS1 demo disc some years ago, then later played the full game. A while back I played and beat its sequel and the first one for GBA. While it is a platformer through and through, there are plenty of puzzle elements in it, too. Unlike recent Sonic games, you can enjoy the visuals at your own pace as you explore.
But I've derailed the topic enough already. BACK TO ADVENTURE. </Stuffwell>
Well I have a DS and could get the GBA game for it.... do you reccomend it?
