Hi everybody.

I normaly do not post here very often for...no reason what-so ever. Also I have a very bad spelling and grammer ability, so please bare with me.

Well, E3 came and the Wii won! Also, its a good year to be a Sonic-Fan.

Now I must admit, the new Sonic game looks awsome! High detail everywere, the controlers are a little sloppy but they are better than last time. I am also very intrested in this new hedgehog and I love the story so far.

However, while I love Shadow and am liking this new Silver guy....dose anybody else think they are unessesary?

Everytime I see Sonic, Silver and Shadow; I see the orginal trio of Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles instead. The more I think about it, not only would it make more sence, but I think the story would have an more emotional deeper impact.

For instance, lets replace Silver with Tails for a sec. The hovering thing is a given, but the psychic powers could be some sort of glove he engineared. Shows his maturing smarts as an inventor and the extended power of his mental focus. Hay, if you are folowing Sonic aimlessly around for 8 years then I say Tails has all the mental focus he needs.

But here could be the cool thing, lets say Silver is around. Tails is accidentaly wapred into the future and then comes back. He knows that Sonic is this Ilblis Trigger and that whatever Sonic is going to do is going to distroy the world. So here is a delema for Tails now that he wants to be a hero in his own right.

In order to save the day, he has to face and combat the only friend he could look up to as a big brother: Sonic.

Now to me, THAT is a more interesting and emotional storyline than figuring out who this Silver is.

While we are on the topic, lets look at Shadow and putting in Knuckles instead. In this storyline, the Master Emrald could be a real threat to the world. A prophesy involivng it and the Ilbis Trigger could happen, and due to dire situations Knuckles gose rouge. This could be an awsome turn around, showing were his loyalties lie. Who dose he trust more? His friendship and fellow humans, or to protect the Emrald.

Using this setup, I could see Knuckles beating the crap out of robots and humans God of War style and hopping into vehicles for some distructo shooting action.

So yea, while the gameplay is cool, I hope they eather switch the characters or elaborate on the story more.

I am sure they will not do a switch now so late in the development process but hay! I can dream can't I?
